---Trisha's POV ---
I got home and barely put my stuff down when my phone went off.
"Hello," I said.
"Hey. Are you home yet?" Shehry asked.
"Ya," I said.
"Okay, do me a favor,"he said.
Anything he wanted, I thought to myself because he made the life that I have now. I have food, water, shelter and clothes.
"What is it?" I asked.
"One of my friends is throwing a party and I want you to come," he said.
"Shehry, I don't have anything against your friends, but unfortunately they're all with my ex best friends," I said.
"No no. This is a different friend. Please come with me. Please, please, please," he said.
I laughed at that.
"Okay. Do I wear a western outfit or Desi?" I asked.
"Desi will do," he said.
"Alright," I said.
"Woo-hoo! Thank you so much!" He said.
"I kind of owe you," I said.
"Owe me? That's why you agreed to this?" He asked.
I can tell from his voice he was hurt by what I said.
"Well, I uuummm...I just thought like that. I'm sorry," i said.
"It's okay. Just please don't think like that," he said.
"I won't," I said.
"Alright. I'll see you in about two hours," he said.
"Wait!! It's today?" I asked.
"Yep. See you soon. Bye,"he said before I could say anything else he hung up.
