Winter's P.O.V

After a long month my wing is finally healed. Time to join the army now where were do I sign up winter thought. "There!". "Hello are you here to sigh up for the army." said a solider at a table with a scroll on the table. "Yes. So what do I need to do?" asked winter. "All you have to do is put your name down the tribe you are in and what you want to be solider, guard for prisoners, medic, or you can choose field medic so you are a soldier but you also have some medic training for the field." said the solider. So I wrote winter under the name slot then my tribe and I choose field medic so I could help other dragons. "Alright you will leave for training in one week starting tomorrow so today and one week." I left the table wondering how I was going to tell moon I was leaving for the army. It will break her heart knowing that I could get killed at any moment.

Moon's P.O.V

I wonder where winter was I asked my self. Then I saw him go back into the cave at the summer palace. I went into the room and saw winter resting in a corner some thing seemed wrong with him. "Winter?" "Hi moon." "Is something wrong winter." I went over and lied down next to him and kissing him. "I will tell you later moon just not now." he said I was confused. "Why cant you tell me now." Moon lets just have dinner first and I will tell you after dinner." So they went and got some fish for dinner moon really did not like the fish but it was fine. Winter took me outside to a cliff that had the bet view I had ever seen. "Winter what do you have to tell me." I asked from under his wing. "Moon you know those rebels we found out about." "Yeah so what does that have to do with anything." I asked winter was starting to worry me. "Well I signed up for the army and I leave one week from tomorrow to start training." I looked at winter as tears started to build in my eyes. I hugged him while I cried in his chest he started to cry a bit to and I had to ask him why. "Why did y-you have to sign up." "Moon I don't want you or anyone else to get hurt or die. I promise I will be alright will wright to you when I can." he told me and that sorta helped a bit when I get letters it means he's alive. "Just don't die please I don't want you to get hurt." "I promise." We sat their crying till we went back to the cave to tell the others. When we went to bed I got as close to winter as I could because one week and he is gone. He kissed me one more time and I curled into a ball and he curled around me and I buried my face in his neck and fell asleep.
