As the sun set itself into the horizon as a hue of pinks and purples, the two teenagers strolled along the sidewalks with their pinkies hooked on the other's, cutting through the park in which they had shared their first kiss three years ago.

"Jason, look! The Korean restaurant finally opened!" The girl chatters, her brown eyes bright with excitement as she spots the lavish lights spelling out 'Little Korea'.

"Let's go tomorrow, Kaoru. " her boyfriend says with a calm, silently smiling down upon his girlfriend, who in fact, was significantly half a foot shorter than his looming 6 foot tall self.

"I'll pay." The girl says, still booming with excitement. Just as the boy was about to protest, she covers his mouth with her free hand and manages to shut him up. "In the three years since you first paid for a meal, I have paid a total of 6 times. That's 6 in 1,095 days."

The blue eyed boy simply gave up upon his girlfriend's insistence and sighed, but not before planting a soft peck on her rosy cheeks.

And before she even knew it, his arm snakes around her itty bitty waist, pulling her upward as she stands on her tiptoes to reach him.

To the boy with sparkling eyes, that fleeting moment in which their eyes fluttered shut were worth a billion and one stars in the sky, and in that lasting seconds where the girl with cheeks that flushed colours of the her favourite flowers recalled the soft velvet of his lips, it was worth 1,089 times of not paying for their meal.
