Tony said that the Sokovia Acoords was a necessary evil that was needed to keep men and women with power under control and the number of civilian casualties down. Stiles didn't realize how much he agreed with the Accords despite his association with the Avengers. Sadly, the decision of choosing to side with Tony fractured his relationship with Wanda, the girl he had fell in love with.

"You're choosing Stark's side?" The wounding betrayal in her voice broke Stiles' heart, and the unshed tears in her eyes forced him to advert his focus to the floor.

Stiles sighed, rubbing the back of his neck before looking back to Wanda again. "He's my family-"

"And you're mine. So why are you doing this?" Wanda interjected with anger and heartbreak.

"I don't want to, Wanda. I love you with every fiber of my being, but...what happened in New York, Sokovia and Lagos shows that the Avengers and all other inhumans need to take responsibility for their actions." Stiles spoke cautiously.

"But that's not all, is it?" Wanda spat, seeing the hesitation that was painted across his face; she didn't need to read his mind to know that he was not telling the whole truth. Stiles exhaled slowly as his heartbeat increased, yet he did not speak. "You're afraid of us, aren't you? You're afraid of me."

"No, no!" Stiles shook his head. "I'm not afraid of you. I trust you! I just don't trust them. I just want innocent civilians to be protected!"

"And what about people like me? How do we know that the government won't betray us once the Accords is permitted?" Wanda exclaimed as the unshed tears in her eyes began to fall. "Stiles, please don't choose Stark's side. There has to be some other way that we can solve this!"

"I can't turn my back on him, Wanda. Tony is my family."

"So was I."
