Saros
I was in my second period french class and everything was completely normal. The teacher was scribbling something down on the board as I played with the frayed ends of the holes in my jeans. Everything was at peace. Until it wasn't. A panicked voice spoke quickly over the loudspeaker.
'Students and staff, there are several armed men on campus, this is a real lock down, I repeat this is not a drill, this is a ligitimate lock down. Lock your doors and close your windows, get to the nearest building and hide. Our staff has called 911, help is on the way.'
I quickly went under my desk as my teacher turned the lights off and as students closed the blinds I shut my eyes and tried to breathe. After my teacher locked the hall door she went behind her desk and ducked. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Then a loud metal bang came from the hall. Someone was trying to get through the hall and into the classrooms. A gunshot went off and we all heard the hall doors open.
