Chapter 9 | Troubles On The Way

Sophia's POV

I walked to my school in order to register again for classes since my mother took me out. 

As soon as I was done registering and filling out papers, I sighed, running my fingers through my hair.

I got up and started the walk back to my house.

I opened the door and walked in slowly. There was a note on the table.

I scrunched up my eyebrows, frowning.

Louis left. He went to fix some stuff. Hope it all works out love

I giggled at the signature and went up to my room.

I laid on the bed wondering what Louis was doing for 3 hours. It was 1:30 in the morning. I groaned, frustrated.

What could he be doing? I called him and I got no response. That's strange.

I left my room and grabbed my keys. I started my walk in the dark to Louis's flat. Grabbing the spare to his house, I unlocked the door.

I walked in, looking around.

And I saw it.

Or well, them.

Eleanor was on top of Louis, straddling him. Her makeup was smudged. They were kissing when I gasped.

Louis looked up and his eyes widened.

"Babe..." He whispered.

"No. Nononono. I thought... I thought you loved me..." I whispered.

My blue eyes flooded with tears. He got up slowly, looking at me with sadness. Eleanor had a smirk plastered on her face.

"No. Louis, forget it, okay? I get it now. You don't love me. You never did, and you never will." I snapped.

He flinched back, and I rolled my eyes.

I sprinted out of his flat, running away.

"Sophie! Wait!" I heard a voice call.

I sharply turned around, angry.

"What do want? To tell me you never loved me? Or that you wanna be with Eleanor? Huh? Tell me, because I'm wondering why you fucked around with me if you didn't even love me. We could've gotten married and just acted like a goddamn couple. But really? You... You cheated instead?" I hissed.

I loved Louis, no doubt about it. Although we only knew each other for a few days, I was completely head over heels for him. He's just so perfect and charming and amazing to be with. Eleanor, is gorgeous and better looking than me. No wonder he chose her over me.

"Please, just let me explain." He pleaded.

"I'm done. Bye Louis. See you at the wedding." I whispered.

I ran to my flat,and I when I got there, I just cried.

Why would Louis do this to me? I thought he loved me. Maybe it was just a lie. It is an arranged marriage after all. How could I be so stupid? He still loves Eleanor and I can't change that. She might be pregnant as well. I groaned. I kept on crying, letting the tears fall down my cheeks. 

I cried till I couldn't anymore.

I cried till I fell asleep.
