Corner at Lime St.

I look straight ahead and see the end of a street corner. To my left is a small toffee bricked café. I look up and see the street sign. "The corner of Lime St. and Kingsley."  I glance around and shove my hands in the sweater pockets of my teal blue zip-up and walk over to the café I noticed earlier.
"He's sure to come anytime now." I whisper to myself quietly as to not draw attention to myself.
I push the clear glass door open with my shoulder as a tiny bell rings signaling my entrance. The cream coloured linoleum floor glared with the soft glow of the hanging pearl lights.
Little round mocha tinted tables scattered the café. One faded cream chair at each table as to make sure the costumers don't feel lonely. To bad it's not working. For me at least.
I look for a table and notice this small coffee shop doesn't have much visitors.
Over in the farthest right corner sits a man in a suit working on his laptop sipping a mug filled with black coffee. Dark as tar. He seems, agitated. Almost scared.
The table straight across from this man sits a women with faded blonde hair tied back in a loose ponytail. She keeps glancing at the man. She appears to be frantic. She doesn't want the man to notice her. Or maybe she does. In her hands she's gripping a white mug with what seems to be an expresso with a foam kitten. She is wearing a pale yellow mermaid dress.
At the order bar a women who appears to be in her early twenties notices me. "Hello, welcome to Café le Lapin." She fakes a smile and I force a smile back. I take a seat in front of the window. The glass has 'le Lapin' displayed in fancy pale egg yolk yellow. Underneath these words is a pure white rabbit.
I stare out the window hoping to catch a glimpse of Lex anywhere but, no luck. A few moments later the waitress struts over to my table. "Hi I'm Lacey. Would you like anything to drink?" She hands me a small menu in fancy lettering and philosophical names.
I gaze at the menu for several long seconds trying to make understanding of the coffee names. I look up at Lacey. She's staring at me with a small patient grin. Her pale red lipstick slightly smearing. Her smile says "I'm patiently waiting for your order." I look into her pale green eyes and see flecks of pain. My gaze never leaving her eyes I say sincerely "I'll just have a regular coffee. Creamer of you have it please." She nods her head and her blue and white uniform disappear behind a marble bar window.
I stare out the window for a few more seconds to hear the little bell ring notifying someone has entered or exited the café door.
My attention is shifted towards the entrance and I see a coral blue zip-up with black jeans and ruffled dirty blonde hair. Bright aqua blue eyes leave me no doubt that my much awaited destination has arrived.
