(So this was inspired from a dream I had and it was really cool... And scary, but It would make a good fairytale so enjoy)

The warm summer sun, birds flying through the air. Another beautiful day in the kingdom. The kind queen as the people called her, stepped out on the balcony with her two sons. The eldest standing proudly besides her and the youngest prince was slightly hiding behind her dress. Clutching tightly to the soft fabric. The young prince looked at his mother. She was sending him a sweet and comforting smile. This simple gesture filled him with determination (*cough cough* Undertale reference *cough cough*). The boys got pushed slightly towards the railing. Revealing the courtyard of the castle. People where walking back and forth, buying and selling things. Soldiers stood like statues at their posts, keeping a tight gaze on anyone that seemed to cause trouble. Although such a thing was rare. The kingdom of Diamondia was the most peaceful place in the entire universe. Now as the boys scanned over what someday would become theirs to rule the eldest son asked "mother, what's that over there?" He pointed towards the horizon. His mother looked towards it. "That my sons is the rest of our kingdom. You see, many of our people live out on the lands to make bigger fields. Some even think there's to crowded inside the walls of our castle so they move out to be a little more free" the boys got a hopeful light shinning in their eyes as they wondered what was outside the walls of their kingdom.

They had never personally been outside the castle. Since their father and mother thought it would be too dangerous to take small cubs into the big bad world. The youngest son pointed towards something in the horizon also. It was rather small but surely visible. It was like a dark purble dot in the clear sky. As the queen found what he was asking about, her face paled. Her face was already snow white thanks to her fur color, but pure terror was now evident in her features. "Mother?" The two boys asked at the same time. The small dark purple dot seemed to grow slowly bigger as it was coming closer to them. "Boys get inside now!" Quickly grapping her sons hands, she ran inside and called for the guards. Soon after an alarm rang loudly through every corner of the kingdom. Telling the people to hide or somehow find a place to stay safe.

"My love, what's going on?!" The king's warm voice sounded. "It's the undead. They are on the way to our kingdom" immediately the king took his family to the highest tower of the castle. The tower of the wizard.

"My king and queen? What is going on?" the old wizard asked. "The undead are coming. we need to get our children to safety" the king explained while glancing on the two princes standing closely to their mother. "Don't worry your highnesses, I will cast a spell on the tower so that nothing will get near it" releaved that this could be done, the queen hugged her kids tightly. Whispering that everything would be okay. "Although there IS a catch" the wizard sad sorrowfully. "What is it? We will do anything" the royal pair said at the same time. "The spell is very tricky, and so the tower will only have enough power to protect two people" "they will have to stay here? Alone?!" The queen had almost lost her mind thanks to that sentence. Leaving her loved children alone in a tower. While tthe adults discussed if there weren't any other way, or that one could at least stay with them. For the first time since the undead where discovered to be headed towards the kingdom, the eldest prince said "we don't want to be alone! We want mom and dad with us!"

All three adults looked at each other, "I suppose that if one came with me to the bottom of the tower your blood would strenghten the foundation, and if the other spilled their blood up here, then that would be enough. "NO! We want both mother and father to be safe!" The youngest prince yelled as tears swelled up in his eyes. "It's okay my boy... Your mother will stay with you here, I will go down and help protect the people, like a king should" As these words was said, a LOT of protesting roared through the small wizard room. But soon it died down. The royal family hugged a final goodbye as they parted. The wizard was standing in front of the tower and casting the powerful enchantment/spell.

"Now with the power of royal blood this spell shall last til eternity!!!"

At this cue, both the King and queen cut their hand, the pain all worth it, if it meant to save their children. The kings blood hit the castle bricks, and an anchient pattern formed out of it. The queens blood landing on the old wood floor, and formed the same pattern of her blood. The kids was hid away in the back of the room inside a box. Which also was enchanted/spelled to protect the kids inside of it. "The spell is done" the wizard laid a soft paw on his kings shoulder, knowing that this would be hard on him. The king put on his brave face and headed towards the gate with his best soldiers. The queen looked out the window one final lance at her husband. Just as she was about to close the old window, a loud thunder like sound roared through the sky. The queens and princes hearts almost stopped. The queen looked towards the undead dot of dark purple... Now the color was filling the entire sky. Like hell broke out on earth, and quickly killed the peaceful harmony of the Diamondia kingdom.

Like a curse of death a dark purple cloud with what looked to be black lightning, crawled over the grounds surface and killed everything it touched. The queen quickly closed the window feeling the small bumb on it like someone was pushed into it. Although it held strong. "Mom?" the scarred small voices called out. "Don't worry, everything is okay" she opened the window again, seeing everyone laying dead on the ground below them. This sight made her gasp from horror and she was just able to see her husband, the king laying eyes wide open but with no sould to make them shine with the light she loved. Tears streamed down her face as something dragged him out of her sight. Not a second after came hellhounds. They where covered in fur black as ash, And a tail of pure fire. They where walking over each person, taking their souls and dragging them away to feed on. The demons soon followed, walking over and taking the remainings flesh feeding off of it. Their own faces are made out of leather. In truth are they only skeletons with dead peoples flesh sewn on to themselves. Making them look horrifying. (Wow this turned dark fast... LOL) The queen once again gasped when one of the demons and hellhounds had seen her. "Mother?" the boys slowly lifted the lid on the box so they could see what was going on. "NO! Stay down!" the tears was streaming down her face. The boys where startled they knew something bad happened to their dad and everyone else... But seeing their mother like this was what made these monsters even more scary.

They had never seen their mother cry of anything except happiness. Now this made the boys tears return as their small hearts hammered away they quickly closed the lid. But not before saying "We love you mom" this made her tear up even more "I love you too... So much" she quickly ran over to the door and made sure to lock it. The tower shook, they where trying to break it down. But with the spell/enchantment they weren't able to. But that changed when the queen heard a whimper noise from her side. She looked over there taking a step back. And from under a carpet a cat revealed itself to have been sleeping. The wizards words repeated to her "under normal circumstances this spell can only protect two... But since the royal blood will be infused into the spell. There will be able to be ONLY three living things in the tower... If anymore the spell would become weak and break" "no" the queen whispered and half yelled, she heard the footsteps of the demon and hellhound's heavy steps up the stairs. "Boys no matter what don't come out of this box" the boys looked at each other and then sounding a slightly muffled "okay" their mother then whispered "I love you two, don't ever forget that."

The demon bashed in the door. No one was in sight but to be sure it ordered the hellhound to look around. First it found the cat but it quickly jumped and ran away. And the hellhound could care less about a cat, when it could smell the souls of a royal... Maybe even more but that scent seemed old almost blown away so it figured that there was only one... But it could be wrong. As it continued hunting for a soul, the demon noticed the box, that the two young princes where hiding in. A small crack was in the top left corner, giving the eldest prince the chance to look and see what was going on. He looked through the small crack to see the demon and it's hellhound walking slowly towards him and his brother. This scared him, he jumped and this scared his brother to. Both making a muffled squeek. The queen was watching from her hiding spot. Fear and panic filled her mind and her mother instinct kicked in. As the hellhound sniffed the box the demon was about to try and open it (Not that t would be possible sice it was enchanted to protect them... But you know magic doesnt always work) The queen quickly stepped out of her hiding spot yelling "HEY OVER HERE YOU MONGREL!" (Is that even a word? Anyway back to the story). The hellhound sprang towards her but she quickly dashed out of the tower heading towards the outside. Both the demon and hellhound followed. once the danger was away from the two boys they heard their mother scream. soon after the dark cloud consumed everything. Almost like sending the two last remaining hope of the kingdom into oblivion, the story ended... Or did it?.
