Alpha Marcus Wolfe's first priority was protecting his pack from the hunters. He did not care who the hunter was or wasn't, or even if they weren't a threat, they all died. But his Alpha King ordered for the hunters to be captured, questioned, then killed. He wanted to find their village in order to rid the earth of their presence. But so far Marcus's spy's have found that the hunters live in small human settlements. One or two hunters could be found within the settlement. Once his spy's were noticed the settlement moved, disappeared without a trace. They could not be tracked because there was nothing for them to track.

Marcus had sent his Beta to find the settlement with one hunter. His spy's said that the settlement was close but they could not get close enough without spooking the humans or the hunter. His spy said that there were ten to fifteen humans living in the settlement. The settlement was made up of mostly were males, and young children. He told his men not harm the women and children because he did not war against the helpless.

"Alpha we found the human settlement. There was a hunter living in the village. We managed to capture her but when we found her she was already taken down by a rouge. She's in critical condition but the pack doctor thinks she will make a full recovery within the week." Said Adrian the packs beta. The alpha was sitting in the chair at his desk looking throw papers for the pack and progression of the war.

"Yes, thank you Adrian. I will be down later to see her myself." The Alpha replied and excused his beta. He lean back in his chair with a sigh of relief. He had found the hunter that was a danger to his pack. Now it was time to question the hunter so he could be rid of her.

When I awoke in small damp dark cell I knew that the shifters who had been watching the village had captured me. The smell of death hung heavily in the air. The bars and walls of the cell were laced with silver. I had no escape. Two male guards stood in front of the cell with their backs to me and their arms crossed. I moved slowly so they couldn't hear me, even if I killed them I could not escape these bars.

"The Alpha will kill her as soon as he gets his information." The man on the right said.

"She's a hunter. I should've killed her while I still had the chance." The man of the left growled.

"She's pretty. Could have some fun with her before the Alpha comes down." The man on the right said. I walked slowly until I stood inches away from the man.

"Want to play?" I whispered. I could tell the man felt my hot breath against the back of neck. Both men had jumped and now both stood facing me. I smirked. The men scowled. "I could've killed you easily. I thought that mutts had heightened hearing." Both men growled at the insult. But neither took the bait.

"I guess you don't realize what I am." I stuck my tongue out and licked the silver bar. "Silver doesn't burn me, just weakens me a little but not much." I grabbed the bars with both hands and pressed my face to them. "So do you still want to play?"

"As much as I am impressed with your little show." The deep voice came from the dark corner. "But I know how to destroy you." I heard liquid slosh in bucket, then the metallic smell. The man walked into light. I knew what was in the bucket before the man said it. "With blood of the innocent." The man laughed. It was a chilling evil sound. I backed away from the man and the bucket until I hit the cold wall of cell. Both of the guards came into the cell and dragged me out. Then chained me to a beam in the centre of the dimly lit room.

"You will tell me what I want." The man demanded. "Where is your lair?" He shouted.

"Lair." I laughed. "We are everywhere. Everything. Every shadow. Every sound. Every breeze. We are under your nose and before your unseeing eyes. You can't kill us. We have no fear. We feel no pain." I lowered my voice. "Most importantly we are you." My eyes never left his. The man face was red with anger. "I am Ravenna Shadow. Warrior fae and wolf shifter. I do not fear you." I yelled at the man.

"I've had enough of your riddles bitch." The man yelled. He took several quick steps towards me and back handed me across the face. My head snapped to side with the force of the blow. The man nostrils were flared with anger. "You will tell me what I want to know." The mans voice lowered dangerously. Then another blow landed at the bottom of my rib cage. After another and another until I lost count. Blood was dripping from my nose on the cement floor. I could tell some bones were broken as well. I slumped against the chains binding me to the beam. The mans knuckle were covered in blood, I did not know if it was mine or his.

"Alpha, the trackers have located the human settlement. Permission to move on with the attack." A who just walked into the dimly lit room asked.

"Permission granted." He said without hesitation.

"You think you can break me. You think you beat me into submission. You think that I will fear you. Hunting defenceless humans just shows how much of a spineless man you really are. You would all be dead if it were not for these chains." I shouted at the men in the room. I growled at them. They all jumped back. My eyes had changed from their normal slate colour to blood red. A colour of great power. The man once again took quick steps forward. His bloody hand grabbed my long black hair and slammed my head back into the beam with sickening crack.

"All your precious weak little humans will die." He growled in my ear then everything went black.
