Chapter 9 who was it

Ella's pov-

Once we finished our date Luke dropped me back at home, I had to wait a moment until his car had gone and I had to not let him walk me to the door but I just don't want to boys to know until we are both sure about this

"And why are you home late misses? Hmm? Who was this boy? Is he outside still? I'd like to talk to him actually-" louis said trying to be stern like a dad would be

"Lou he's gone home, I'm late because my phone died and I lost track of time, you'll find out who he is in due time, no like I said he's gone home so you can't talk to him" I stuck my tongue out

"We'll next time invite him in I'd like a word with him, what's his name?"

"Not telling youuuu" I sang as I skipped into the kitchen to get a drink

"So are you going to tell me who your date was? You know your best friend?" Niall asked with his arms folded across his chest like he was pretending to be mad at me

"Come to my room ill tell you there but tell any of the boys and you're dead niall!" I whispered I to his ear and dragged him upstairs into my room

"Okay so you know how you said about my liking Luke the other day?" He nodded "well he asked me out and-"

"Oh my god Ella I'm excited for you! He's a great lad! But why did you keep it from me eleanor knows! Lou has been trying to get it out of her all evening!" He exclaimed

"Right lets go save her then" I laughed

"You know even if I do love Luke as a person and the other lads from 5sos, I'd always put you first you know that Ella? So if he ever did anything you wouldn't have to hide it from me, I'm always team Ella over everything" he smiled and I pulled him in for a long hug

"Thank you niall" I whispered against his chest

We walked downstairs and all eyes were turned to us

"So Ella, this date of yours?" Zayn wiggled his eyebrows

"Eleanor told us who it was" my eyes widened then I looked around to find eleanor missing along with louis

"We took her away now louis is taking care of her" harry said as if he was trying to be sinister but the dimples didn't help at all

"Who is it then?" I questioned knowing these lads they'll be tricking me into telling them who it was

"LOUIS LET ELEANOR OUT SHE'S ONTO US!" Harry shouted and louis stormed out of another room

"Who was it? Why did I let harry try to act? This is icarly all over again!" Louis shouted all sassily

Eleanor came into the room with her hair messed up and I couldn't help but laugh

"Eleanor what did he do?" I cried

"He messed my hair up until I told him who your date was but clearly he doesn't know how stubborn I am really" she smirked and louis just stuck his tongue out like a 9 year old

"Why do you even want to know so much?" I asked them sitting on the sofa

"Well mainly because we aren't allowed to know, but we need to know if he is up to our standards to date you or we might go a little over protective" harry replied

The boys had never been protective over me but nobody ever gave them a reason to be, maybe Luke was this reason?

I shook my head "I'd tell you if it was important which it isn't right now, I'm going to bed now" I stood up and walked out of the room

"But what if he's a total arse? We can't stop her she's told enough to date who she likes now" I heard liam say from the living room

"I don't care, you may be all nice and thinking of her feeling now but ill say how I feel I'm not having a total dick head anywhere near her! The thought of a guy using her of taking advantage of her knocks me sick and im not afraid to kick some arse when it comes to her" I heard harry say

I could feel tears forming in my eyes, if only they knew
