Lee Eun Mi's POV

I suddenly opened my eyes due to the alarm tone. I fell asleep ? Oh well..

Last night.. Was a disaster... I realised that I'm lying on the couch. I was on the floor I guess ?

I got up and saw that only Miyoung is sleeping on the bed. Mom's up already ? Oh then mom did that.

I went to the dining space and saw mom making breakfast. She looked so depressed and weak. It really hurts me to see her in this condition. Tears started to well up in my eyes. No.. You can't be weak now. You have to be strong Eun Mi.

"Good morning mom !" I greeted her with a pleasant smile like nothing happened.
"Good morning dear.." She said very weakly.
Then Miyoung came with teary eyes. She looked like she's gonna cry in any moment.
I frowned looking at them.

"Seriously you two.." I said gathering their attention.
"What happened dear ?" Mom asked.
I gave her my brightest fake smile and said that,"Oh it's nothing ! Eommonim.. ^_^ could you cook bacon and make pancakes? Pleeeeeeeeaaaaassssseeee ?" I said sweetly to her.
Both of them were looking at me in shock.
"What? Won't you ?" I asked sadly.
"Okay I'll make it.." She said and carried on her work.

"Now you two must be thinking.. How is she so happy ? Her dad left yesterday... " Both of them again looked at me.

"Well... Dad must not be spoiling his day crying or being sad for us.. Is he ? He must be enjoying with that witch.. Then why should we spoil our day for such a person ? And and and !
They say 'The show must go on.' If we keep wasting our time being sad for him, it's totally a waste of time and he's never gonna come.. That's the reality and it's harsh.. And I guess none of us want him back in our life.. Miyoung do you?" I asked her.
She violently shook her head. And mom looked down.

"See none of us wants him ! Then what's the use of wasting time ? And time is limited anyway.. So we should utilise it properly.. So.." I looked at Miyoung.
She said cheerfully,"Let's cheer up !" And then we gave each other Hi5 and chuckled.
"Mom ? Hi5 !" We cheerfully gave her Hi5 and then finally she smiled..
"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! She smiled! Our mom is the prettiest and bestest mom ever !" We exclaimed cheerfully. Finally I'm able to brighten the gloomy mode of our house.

"You're going to school today ?" Mom asked me while approaching me as she saw me wearing shoes..
"Yeah !" I replied her cheerfully.
"You could take a day off.. You were awake till the dawn.." She said in a worried tone.
"No mom. I'm fit anyway ! And we shouldn't skip school unnecessarily !" I said like an obedient student though I'm not.

"Oh look who's saying !" She said and then we both chuckled.
"Eun Mi dear.. Are you really okay ?" Mom asked in a worried tone.
"Of course mom! What would happen to me?" I said and then looked at the watch.
"Oh it's getting late.. I'll go now ! I love you ! ( I kissed her cheeks quickly ) Babye !" I said and left for school...

On the way, I saw children walking happily with their fathers I guess ? Actually today is father's day...

It made my mood sad gradually.

I don't know I couldn't fake cheer at all. I'm so pissed off.. Cuz today as it's father's day everyone is discussing about that. And then our English teacher. She told us to write a paragraph about father... It was a surprise test. I didn't write a single thing. I'm not gonna write a paragraph for him ! Never ever !
My copy was blank.
