The skeleton King, also known as Malus, Is a demon of immense power. As a soul that came to exist having been born from emotions such as hatred, rage and malice, Malus understood only pain. He despised all that was good, and sought to destroy it all. Biding his time and gathering his power in the deepest, darkest depths of the realm of spirits, once he became powerful enough, he gathered to him legions upon legions of malicious spirits, and now that he had the means to do so, he unleashed his rage, slaughtering countless souls in a bid to prove his dominance. Fearing for their lives, the remaining souls banished Malus to the material realm, binding both Malus and his armies in physical forms, thus restricting the genocidal demon from using his full power. At first, Malus was furious. Not because he was banished from his own realm, but because he now lacked the capabilities to finish what he started. Anger turned to a sick minded feeling of amusement when he realized that those who banished him weren't trying to be heroes, but in fact had hoped the endless murder of all things that existed in this new word would satiate his blood lust. And so he began, causing the near mass extinction of the human race time and time again, only stopping to allow them time to repopulate the Earth before he continued the genocidal cycle. The sheer amount of death Malus had brought upon the world had earned him the title of the skeleton King, named after the millions of skeletal corpses he and his armies had left in their wake. As the many thousands of years carried on however, Malus grew tired of the slaughter, and wished to face a challenger worthy of his power. And so, after having built himself a fortress in the northernmost part of the Earth, where no living thing could survive for long, He will bide his time once again, awaiting someone worthy to challenge the skeleton King.
