‘Ash, wake up, it’s time for school!!’ Samantha shouted from downstairs in the kitchen.

I went downstairs, said good morning to my parents but as I got outside, a black Rover was parked when I saw a brown haired, tall boy with eyes glinting hazel in the sunlight, waving at me profusely to come in the car.

I think that’s Conner, the boy with big biceps that makes the girls scream. He goes to my new school ‘Hawley High School’ and he is loud.

However, Conner is my third cousin; he also likes me more than the other cousins. So I decided walked over to Conner’s car and said numbly

‘Hey Conner, right?’ I said as I was questioning myself if I was right. After that party I went to last night, I kind of forgot everyone's name

‘Hey man, yep that’s my name’ Shouts Conner over the loud stereo of ‘Crazy in Love’ By Beyoncé.

They drove off to school, while Conner is chatting about what makes him so popular for the hundredth time, and says how he became captain of the soccer team ‘Red Bull’ likes always.

My first period was hectic, whispers all around about me. It’s like I’m the centre of attention when I started to be in a band called ‘BEAT!’.

“Oh God, I miss Akappel so, so much. Just wish she was here… I am so lonely!

“Something really weird happened to me last night, of all nights and I intend on finding out what that thing was!” I Thought angrily.

After my 16th Birthday, my dad called me to meet him in the garage.

I met dad in the garage sitting on his work desk typing on the high tech laptop, I asked him why I still feel so weird about the transformation.

‘Dad I am losing it. Some of my human memories are disappearing like magic. I had this dream, it was like having flashbacks. But you know what I miss the most? I miss ME, my human self and… Akappel. I miss her so much; I just wish I could go see her!’ I moaned.

‘How come you still remember Akappel? It’s been long!’ Groaned Ronald.

I looked down confusedly, and then looked at Ronald in frustration.

‘Uh, duh. She was my best friend. But I actually don’t know! Was I meant to lose all my memory? After I am going to be “King of all Things”?’ I Questioned.

Ronald looked at Ash worriedly. He wanted and needed to tell Ash about their family history, mostly the ‘History of Inhuman Shape shifting.’ Ronald sighed, thinking if Ash will get his new memory and to stop thinking about that wretched girl, Akappel.

‘Ash you want to go back to London… maybe for a visit?’ Asked Ronald casually.

‘You kidding… are you sure? But I haven’t finished my second year in Hawley High.’ I shouted happily.
