Chapter 1 Finding Out

One August day I was doing my project on the greek god Zeus. I had found an interesting article that had said he had given up for 16 years till his daughter Sky CloudWalker was 16 so in 2015 he will rejoin the other gods in olympus with his daughter. I walked out of my room "Mom I know". I said.

She gave me a box "This has everything you need". She told me and sounded proud of me I could not wait to see my dad. It was a navy blue dress that cut off after my knees and flowed behind, a cloud bow with lighting arrows and a lightning baret that turns into a sword. As soon as I put on my clothes I got skinnier, taller, black wings came out of my back, and my hair turned blue and went past my knees.She told me she would drive me to school. "Your teachers already know by the way". she had told me. On top of nevose for a regular day mostly today I was nervous and down right scared of what Jace would think of me.

I walked into the band room and there was Jace. I walked over to my band locker hoping he would not see me.

"Sky wait up". he yelled. I walked faster trying to avoid him I felt it was the best thing to do at the time he was not ready to know. "Sky"! he yelled again. I slid down to the floor on my back and cried. "Hey what's wrong". he asked concerned.

"My whole life is changing. I am a Demigod." I said unhappily.

He hugs me and says "It's ok, I am too." He said trying to calm me down. He grabbed my hand right as the bell rang.

We walked down the hallway hands together me leaning on his shoulder a little bit. He could tell I was upset but, I was glad he was here. If he was not here I don't know what I would do. I love him I could not stand a normal day when he's gone so know I have bigger problems and when he's gone he can't comfort me about it. He told me "We can get through this everything will be fine". he told me confidently. We got to our locker when I felt something wrong is going to happen.

Over the announcement says "lockdown".

we looked at eachother confused. "What do we do." Our principal Mr Knoll told our codes and our locker became an elevator. We saw Ocean and Crystal grabbed our weapons and we got back up in time. It was the crows they Were my archenemy I hade read a lot on what happened between Hades and my enoff to know that. I turned into a phoenix I did not know at that time I could. I was freaking out squawking all over and Austin trying to calm me down. It was the worst time to freak out I know but I was a phoenix! A phoenix!Then something grabbed me I almost squawked my head off worse. I rolled my eyes it was Austin who grabbed me to make me quite, I calmed down after that.

I flew over the guy and blew a cloud cage over him but, he could not get out. He had try getting out he failed terribly. we had to wait three hours till cops showed up. Once we left everyone was gone by then. I had gone home with Austin that afternoon to clear my mind but when came to coming home. It was a nightmare.

Once I got to my house that night I felt something was wrong. I still stayed thinking it was just my imagination. When I turned on my Lights and standing right there was the leader of the crows Hatties . Unlike his son ruthless,cruel, and downright mean. He had clapped slowly congratulating me on defeating one of his toughest members.

"What are you doing here?" I said worried.

"To take what's mine, the sword," He said. He launched at me with full force it and knocked the wind out of me. He went straight for my wings and broke them. Jace had seen his father and ramed at him by the time I hit the ground he was flying after me and it knocked me out cold when I hit the ground.

I woke up after a half of a week passed. "No, don't die please don't die." I heard a voice crying. Then i realized it was Jace.

"I'm ok". I barely had a voice. He looked down and smiled I did not notice I was in a hospital so, I tried to get up but fell back in bed.

"Whoa, whoa you broke your leg and wings you are going nowhere." He said considered. I rolled my eyes. So, he gave me a seriously look. I laughed a lot that night.

The next morning I woke up first Jace looked so cute sitting in the hospital chair asleep. 

"And I thought he would be awake first." The nurse said. 

He must have stayed up three nights in a row waiting for me to wake up. I randomly passed out until I saw that the nurse stabbed me in the back with a knife.She must have been a crow the only way I know is the symbol on it. Before I fainted I zapped Jace awake. My eyes were closing when he woke up.

I thought I would die but then I woke up and saw Jace going off on the doctor.One thing I heard was this "If she dies I wont be able to live with myself." he had said in tears. He came in bawling but with no noise. He grabbed my hand and then looked at my face and saw I was awake but not doing so hot. "Hi." he said considered.

"H-hi." I said stuttering. I had a sharp pain in my back still so I tried to hide it.

Saturday and Sunday flew by like time did not exist. Monday they let me go to school on crutches. On the bus Austin let me fall asleep on his shoulder. He woke me up gently, Mrs. Johnson thankfully let both of us off early we got inside and my old boyfriend was worried I looked at Austin he gave me a look it won't hurt.

"Hey , Ethan you ok?" I said.

"Are you ok? Is the more important question." He said considered.

"I'll be ok." I said calmly 

"Well, you know you can ask me for help when he is not here." he said calming himself down.

"I know." I said. He looked at me and smiled. 

Today is going to be a good day but I was wrong.
