Chapter 5 The Week Off

" I hope this week is fine." I said

"Yeah me too". Ocean said

"Too much crap goes on in a whole day i'm tired off it." Jace said

"Yeah, but it is our job I mean we technically are superheroes it's cool in my opinion." Ocean said in enjoyment.

" There goes Mrs. Tencanal again" Jace said.

" Oh stop your whining Austin." I paused " I'm tired of that." I said to him laughing.

 He just rolled his eyes and blushed. All of us still hang out with Ethan  ,Summer, Anna ,Winter, Autumn, and Jenna but not as much anymore.

"Ohhhh dude you just got told by your girlfriend." Ethan said laughing but could tell I was not amused.

"Ohhhh dude shut up." I said and me leaning on Jace shoulder.

 And Ethan just rolled his eyes at me. I looked up at Jace and he down at looked at me. We sat there staring into eachothers eyes, and Crystal came flying in between use. Everyone started to laugh at us and Jace and I just blushed.

" Why is everyone laughing ? What did I miss?." Crystal said.

"Nothing." Jace and I said blushing .

"Oh whatever" Crystal said.

Jace and I went into a gaze but got rudely interrupted by Ethan.

"Sooo, La-Sky can I talk to you alone?" He said weirdly.

"He's gonna ask." I heard Jenna whisper.

"Soo, Sky will you go out with me?" He questioned.

" NO YOU BROKE MY HEART ONCE AND I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" I yelled.

I flew to the top of the school and sat down steaming mad at him.

Meanwhile at the cafeteria

" I think that was a no." Ethan said.

" What the heck is going on!" Jace screamed.

" He asked her out which I told him was a bad idea." Crystal said with a disappointed look on her face.

"Nice going dude." Jace said

"WHAT DID I DO!?"Ethan  screamed

"YOU KNOW YOU AND HER IS A ROUGH SUBJECT FOR HER!" Jace screamed back.

"BOYS!" I paused "BOTH OF YOU SHUSH!" I yelled all the way from the door of the cafeteria.

" JAC-!" Ethan started to say

"SHHH!" I interrupted him

I started to cough for no reason then I noticed smoke.

"MR.LABERTO GET EVERYONE OUT OF THE BUILDING THERE'S A FIRE!"I Yelled.

Mr. Laberto pulled the switch the ones in the lower hall were working but none in the upper hall were. I flew as fast as I could dodging the smoke to warn the classes in the upper hallway. As I got closer to the upper hallway the smoke got thicker and I could barely see. I noticed that the fire was started in the science room which did not have anyone this hour thankfully. I had warned everyone but Mrs. Bellerose 5th hour French Class. I flew fast as I could to her class.

"Everyone hurry out, there is a fire!" I yelled

As soon as I said that everyone panicked and ran out. As they ran out I fainted and they pushed me side to side. Once they were gone I finally just fell.

Even though I fainted I could hear footsteps and wing beats. I automatically knew it was Austin and Ethan.

"SKY! SKY! SKY!" Jace yelled.

"DUDE! I SEE HER!" Ethan yelled

"WHERE!?" Jace yelled back

" OVER HER SHE FAINTED!" Ethan yelled

I felt both of them pick me up and carry me out of the school. I could not move my body at all, all I could do was hear. I heard Austin screaming call nine one one.

"Hello we need an ambulance." I heard someone.

"Edwardsburg Middle School. Sky Clouldwalker fainted because of smoke we also need a fire department." I heard the person say.

"Thank you." The person said and put the phone down.

"They're on there way Jace." I finally could tell it was Winter.

"Wake up Sky." I heard Autum say worried.

All of the sudden I hear an ambulance pull up. I woke up right as they put me in the ambulance.

Jace yells to the front " She is good!"

Jace says to me " Don't scare me like that ."

"Sorry." I said to him.

"It's fine we were all just worried that's it." He said calmly hugging me.

Then after that everyone started hugging me and thanking me for save their lives. I told them they did not have to thank me It's my job. But they insisted on thanking me and taking to Subway. I decided I would not argue with them because I knew I would not win. Especially against Jace, Crystal, Ocean, Ethan, Summer, Anna, Winter, and Autumn.

I still tried to argue my way out of it "No, I can't let you."

"Too bad i'll drag you there if I have to." Jace told me.

"Ha like you could." I said confidently.

Jace gave me a look like you wanna try me. I ended up just going so i'm not embarrass myself by Jace being serious. So I just looked down as my cheeks turn a rose red glaze appeared over my checks.

"I Love you" Jace laughed

"I Love you too" I laughed back

The rest of the week was boring for us school, school ,and more school. Except a little minor detail ok it was major but still prom is not great when you're on lookout.Still I did get a break away from lookout.
