With her big blue eyes and brown hair Althea looks younger than her 17 years. A hater of travelling Althea rarely leaves her small area of district 6. With no training in weaponry, Althea appears timid and weak but shows promise in thriving during training. With a mother addicted to morphling and spending all the family's money on it, Althea has grown up living a hard life. She has great experience in making items which is her biggest strength however she suffers from a bad knee as a result of an injury during her childhood, meaning that she isn't as quick as all the other tributes.
Reaped unexpectedly, Althea doesn't want to take part in the games, knowing that there isn't a chance that she can be victor.
