One more chapter left after this, I'm going to finish the book today. The boys cover was pure perfection they all did good but Kevin 😍🙌 can't wait for the video. [edit from vibes.tbd on Instagram]

I WAS STANDING INFRONT of my new mirror making sure I looked presentable for my date with Devin. He has taking us taking us to a carnival tonight and I was excited.

He said he wanted us to have fun on our first date and I couldn't agree with him more. But we still weren't together, hopefully that'll change soon. I heard my phone go off telling me I got a text.

I walked over to my dresser unlocking my phone seeing it was Devin.

I smile and and place my phone into my back pocket and rush downstairs to tell my mom I'm leaving. I kiss her on the cheek and head to the door but was stopped.

"Ariella." My mom said, I turned back around to face her.

"Yes mom?"

"Just be careful alright, I don't want you to get hurt or he'll get hurt." I smile at her and she smiles back. I wave to her one last time and walk out the house.

Devin was leaning against the car grinning but it soon turned into a smirk.

"I like your outfit." He said, I looked down at it then back at him realizing we were wearing that same. I shake my head and giggle lightly walking closer and hugging him tightly.

"You don't look bad yourself." I pulled away and he opened the back door for me and I got in with him following right behind.

Shana greeted me which I kindly returned. Devin plugged the aux cord into his phone and started blasting "alright" by Kendrick Lamar.

About an hour drive we finally reach there, Shana dropped us off and we went in after we, well Devin paid for the tickets.

"What do you want to do first?" Devin said looking down at me.

"I'm not sure but I know we definitely have to go in the Ferris wheel."

He nodded his head and smiled widely, "yeah definitely. How about we play the basketball game, I'll win you a prize."

I nod my head and take his hand walking over to the carnival game. Devin gave the man three tickets then picked up the ball throwing it to the hop missing the first time. I really wanted that teddy bear.

"Don't worry babe I got you." He picked up another ball throwing it into the moving hop. I squealed loudly causing Devin to laugh.

"Hey don't laugh at me!"

"You're just too cute, now which one do you want babe?"

"The big teddy bear."

The mad climbed up the ladder taking the bear down and handed it to Devin who gave it to me. I went up on my tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek, thanking him.

Two hours has passed and I was having so much fun with devin. We ate a lot of food and took a bunch of picture on snapchat.

"Cmon lets go on the Ferris wheel now." He said speed walking towards it. My little legs couldn't keep up with him, I was basically running.

"Slow down Devin I can't keep up."

"Cmon Ari we have to hurry." He grabbed my hand and began to run to the line. I was out of breath when we reached and he was perfectly fine.

"What the hell is wrong with you." I said holding my chest.

"You'll see just come."

It was our turn to go on, devin sat on the left and I sat on the right. The man below pulled the lever and we started to move.

"Why did you rush me to come here it's just a Ferris wheel."

"Shh just wait."

"Did you jus-"

"Shh." I rolled my eyes and folded my arms, Devin pulled out his phone and started to text somebody i just turned my head and looked down below at the beautiful lights.

We sat in silence for about ten minutes until Devin began to speak.

"Ariella."

"Yeah?" I turned and faced him.

"You're such a beautiful person you know that right? I knew from the day that I met you, you were the one for me. I know I messed up a lot and I'm truly sorry for that. I want you to know that I'll never hurt you like that again. I love everything about you, your smile, your laugh, your hair, your eyes, your personality, your body, your mind. Every part of you I fell in love with. Your skin is so beautiful ariella, you need to know that, I- just look up."

I do what I was told and looked up to see fireworks saying "will you be my girlfriend ariella?" I look over at Devin with widen eyes he was starring back at me nervously.

"Yes," I say. "Yes I'll be your girlfriend."

I stretched my arms towards him wrapping them around his neck, holding him close. I peck his lips softly then rest my head on his shoulder.

"How did you pull this all off?" I ask.

"My moms friend is running this carnival and I asked him if I could use some fireworks and he let me."

"You didn't have to do that for me."

"But I did, I'll do anything for you."
