Jenna's POV:
A week had passed with me and Liam hardly talking to eachother. I was still pissed at him for the whole kitchen-clean-up incident. He was just so out of order!
In the end, he cleaned it up and I felt kind of guilty that he had to do it all himself, but then again, he did make the mess!
I obviously had to tell Kaylie about the whole incident because she practically dragged me into the girls bathrooms on Wednesday morning to get the full details.
She called me the night before to tell me about this huge party that is happening on Friday, but then our talk turned to the subject of mine and Liams argument. She advised me that it should all blow over in a couple of days.
Me and Liam are on speaking terms, mostly just nods and grunts or 'pass the remote' or, ironically, 'you better clean that up'.
Kaylie told me that I have to go to the party or she will never speak to me again. I said that she was being childish and that I had a lot of studying to do and that I couldn't and wouldn't go. This conversation was all in the girls bathrooms before the bell rang. She threatened me with a glare that I had to look away from.
Throughout Wednesday and most of Thursday, Kaylie practically begged me to go and I finally gave in. What can I say? She's very persuasive!
On Saturday, the two of us went to the mall and picked out dresses. It was terrifying.
Kaylie had me try on about 400 different dresses. Well maybe not 400, but it was a lot.
I finally decided on a really cute, light pink, off one shoulder dress. It had powder pink roses all over the top half with small silver gems in the middle of the flowers. The bottom was light pink and flowy but only went to just above my knee. It was perfect.
Kaylie picked out some plain nude heels and a silver clutch for me as well. She already had accessories so we picked out a flowery summer dress for her that came just above her knee too.
We got the bus home and as soon as we walked through the door with our many bags, Liam was just putting his jacket on to go out.
"Hey Liam!" Kaylie greeted the monster, earning herself a glare from me. She brushed it off and continued having her little chat with Liam. He was actually quite pleasant, considering he's an annoying jerk.
Kaylie asked him a load of questions, including one that involved the party on Friday. He said that he was going because it was being held at the house of one of the guys on the football team.
She boasted about not having a ride to the party and that she didn't want to get a cab. Liam offered to take us and she obviously accepted. This earned her another death glare. She shouted goodbye to Liam while I told her that I would get us some drinks. She hauled the bags upstairs while I went into the kitchen.
Suddenly, my arm was tugged back by a large, rough hand.
"Maybe you should learn some stuff from your friend on manners, you haven't talked to me all this week." he whispered into my ear, causing me to shiver and wriggle away from his grip.
"I haven't talked to you for a reason. Now go away, I thought you were going somewhere anyway?" I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"oh crap!" Liam said, quickly putting his sneakers on.
I chuckled as I walked into the kitchen and heard the front door slam. Jesus that boy needs to sort himself out!
I grabbed two sodas and took them upstairs. I collapsed on my bed after I gave Kaylie her can.
