Chapter 5 :
Jenna;
My alarm clock buzzed as i awoke from another dream involving unicorns and blueberries. Yeahhh, i really needed to get my brain checked out!
I slowly crawled out of bed and wandered to the bathroom. As i walked across the top of the stairs, i noticed the faint buzz of the radio coming from the kitchen. It wasn't my parents as i remember them waking me up at four in the morning to say there goodbyes.
I shrugged it off and stepped into the bathroom and turned the shower on.
Humming to my newly refreshed self, i saunterd out of the bathroom and went into my closet to get dressed. I threw on a pair of denim shorts and a cute tie-dye t-shirt. I slipped my feet into a pair of red Vans after doing my hair and make-up, grabbed my school bag and walked downstairs.
Shock was the first thing that hit me. Soon followed by my cheeks turning as red as my shoes and my eyes nearly popping out of my skull.
Standing in the middle of my kitchen was Liam Appleby. TOPLESS!! And by the mess of ingriedients all over the counter, he was cooking pancakes.
I cleared my throat after i had got my fill (and after my cheeks had gone back to there normal colour) of the god that stood before me.
Liam swiftly turned in my direction and immediatley smirked. He leaned his hip on the counter and held a spatular in his hand. All the anger from the drive home yesterday, gone. Hmmm...?
As soon as he turned my way, my eyes went straight to his chest. He had a few scars near his right hip and a small star tattoo on his chest. I rolled my eyes. Typical bad boy.
He opened his mouth to say something when i cut in, " Please go and get ready for school! I don't wanna be late," I sort of whined. I had to keep my attendance up when my parents were away or they'd suspect something. I always had good attendance and grades 'cause i was good 'ol Jenna that never did anything reckless or bad in her life. In other words, i was boring and a wimp.
Liam shoved a freshly made pancake in his mouth while i poured a bowl of coco pops and a glass of apple juice. I sat at the counter checking Twitter on my phone. Yeahh..I had Twitter. You sign up out of curiosity, then you're hooked!
After another pancake being shoved into that gorgeous mouth of his, Liam went upstairs to get dressed.
Ten minutes later, he came down from his room, with a shirt on:( and grabbed his car keys, telling me to hurry up as i stumbled out of the front door and followed him to his car.
I was a little bit annoyed at his sudden need to leave before i checked the time on my phone. We had 10 minutes to get to class! Luckily it only took about 5 to get there.
I put my headphones in and jumped out of the car without saying a word to Liam and walked into the school entrance. He mumbled something about going to talk to his friends in the car so i left him to it. I got a few funny looks but i shrugged them off.
