My alarm went off at 6:30 in the morning. it was the first day of grade 9. The first day flew by and by the second day, I had a squad. We took selfies and took care of each other.

It was November, and my friend was leaving. Me and my friends try to spend each and ever minute with her. When she left something happened. I felt like something was missing, but I stayed strong.  That night after she left, like usual, I locked myself into my room.  I jumped on my bed and when onto Instagram and put on some music. At around 4:30, I heard a knock on my door. I got up and unlocked it, to let my sister.  My sister was two years older than me but she was my best friend. "You alright Michelle?" asked my sister.

"I'm great, haven't been better Melissa."

"Wow, then your runny mascara and your messy side of the bed is just you being happy?" said my sister. She always knew how to get the truth out of me, but not this time.

"I'm going to take a shower. Where is the makeup remover?''. She pointed to the dresser and I grabbed them and took a shower. When I got out I put on some of my fancy cloths and re-applied my makeup. When I went back out into my room, I plugged in my phone and went out to the kitchen.

"Michelle, can I do your hair?" asked my baby sister Nicole. Nicole was only 3 put she was a smarty pants.

"Maybe later pumpkin, I'm going out with some friends." I kissed her on the forehead and we walked over to the table. "Hey loser! Why do you always where those ugly cloths?" asked my brother Nick who was almost three years younger than me.

"I'm going out with my friends, do u have a problem with that?" then I realized my fee t weren't on the ground, "Dan!! Put me down!" Dan was the oldest. He was sixteen and he loved me. Then come the last members of our family, my one year old sister Katie, and my mom and dad.  We sat down and ate dinner, then I when to my room, brushed my teeth and then curled my hair.

At 6:30 I grabbed my wallet, and my phone and placed it in my purse. I grabbed my spring jacket, and then my flats. I said bye to my family and raced out the door. Me and my older siblings were going to the high school with some of our friends. When we got there, we went to each of our classes, grabbed our work, and headed home. It was now, nine at night so when we got inside our house we pugged in our phones, and got ready for bed. At 10, we all went to bed.  As I laid there I thought of my best friend, and how much I already miss her.
