A long distance relationship

Christmas

It was christmas and lights were everywhere and everything was beautiful. It was cold outside but that comes with snow duh. I would always go for an evening run, it was snowing when it was about time to go for my run. I got a good jacket and my hat and went for my run. I left my phone at the house on charge since it was completely dead. I ran about three and a half miles, it was a good run. I got home and ran a hot bath with some bubbles. I stripped myself and got my phone and slipped into the tub. I layed down and checked all my messages, there was a number that wasn't saved it my phone. It was Skylar , he apologized for everything and hoped that Id have a good Christmas. I just didn't reply, I just wanted to relax. I put on some music and enjoyed my bath. I got out and put on a big shirt and a lace thong. I was lying in bed and fallen asleep. My dream was really crazy, I dreamt of Skylar coming to see me at christmas. That's not gonna happen I thought to myself

It was Christmas Eve, heard nothing from skylar , Of course. I made cookies with mum that night and then went to bed. It was midnight, I couldn't sleep, I went to the kitchen and got some medicine. I took medicine and it knocked me out, I slept so good. I woke up at about 5am, nobody was awake so I just went back to sleep and kinda forgot that it was Christmas Day. I woke up around 12:30 because I heard a group of people talking I got dressed and did my hair then walked into the living room. I saw my mum my brother and my babygirl. There was somebody else but I couldn't tell who , I walked over to them and then they turned around. I got tears in my eyes and smiled, he smiled back. It was skylar, he came to see me for Christmas, he gave me a big hug and a kiss. I never thought that this day would come. I'm the luckiest girl in the world I thought. He grabbed a box that was underneath the Christmas tree , I sat on the couch and opened it. I looked at him and he was on one knee, he took the box and told me to stand up. I began to cry, I stood up and he said, "Stephanie, it's been awhile since we've talked like we used to. I've always loved you and I always will. You and haleigh are my girls and I need you two in my life. Baby girl , will you marry me?"  I was crying so hard now, I said, "yes yes yes." He put the ring on my finger and kissed me. The best christmas ever.
