A long distance relationship

My dr appointment

I scheduled an appointment for 12:30. Skylar just got to the house, he had all of his stuff. He was moving in until we got our own place. I walked outside to see if he needed any help. He had his arms full of bags, "you need help babe?" I asked, he replied "no baby, go get ready."

I was extremely nervous and excited, I was pregnant, with the love of my life's baby. He kissed my forehead and opened the car door for me and helped me in. We drove downtown to the doctors office, we walked in and he sat down, I signed in and sat beside him. They called my name and we walked back to her room, she had me pee in a cup and tested me. It came back positive, she took us to another room and we were getting an ultrasound. Skylar was too excited, he couldn't stop smiling, the new nurse walked up and put some jelly on my tummy.

She put the wand onto my tummy and was moving it around , thump thump, thump thump. It was our baby's heartbeat, I began to cry, skylar was so amazed at how clear the image was. We got printouts of our little one, I was 12 weeks and 2 days. I was already pretty far, we went home and mom was there and asked what they said.

I told mom that I took a test and it was positive, I showed her the ultrasound pictures. She was so excited, she demanded that we go baby shopping as soon as we find out what we're having. I told her to chill out, I wanna get our own place first. I wanna be out on my own with my fiancé and our baby.
