Chapter 14

Louis' POV

I couldn't stand seeing them like this one more second she had lied to me and said she loved me. I walked into their hug and grabbed her and held her close. "Uh Louis. This is kinda weird." "What the hell were you doing with my girlfriend!?"

Mercy's POV

I was currently getting squished by Louis. It honestly scared me when he screamed. "THIS IS HOW MUCH YOU LOVE ME! SO MUCH YOU DECIDE TO CHEAT ON ME WHEN IM IN THE SAME ROOM?" I gasped and released myself from his grip. "YOU THOUGHT I WAS CHEATING!?" He nodded and looked at me sternly.

"I would think that when I come here and see you giggling with him hugging and spinning you!" I laughed, warm tears brimming in my eyes. "I was helping him with girl problems! He was asking me how to approach and ask his trip partner out! He hugged me because he was thanking him. You really don't trust me enough to leave with my best friend for five minutes without thinking I'm cheating?"

I said as hot tears streamed down my face. "And I thought you were smarter than that. Come one Luke." I said as I walked toward the exit, Lucas following me. I stopped in front of the road and pulled out my mobile to dial a cab. I sat on the curb and I heard voices becoming louder.

I got up to cross the street and as I was nearing the other sidewalk I saw a flash of lights and I was out.

Louis' POV

I ran out of the arcade after that huge mistake I made with everyone after me. Then it felt as if my whole world was frozen in time and I saw what would scar someone for life. I swear I felt as if my whole world broke right there and then.

"MERCADIES!!!" I quickly ran towards her now bloody unconscious body. "Mercy. Please speak. Merc answer me please. MERCY! WAKE UP!!" I was shaking her body hoping for her to wake up tears running down my face onto her. I heard sirens and people started pushing me back. Oh no I do not give up that easily without a fight.

I had to be there for her.

Always.

I PROMISED.

We had just reached the hospital and everyone was running out of cars and into the hospital. I silently prayed that she would be alright. Thank god Liam had taken a picture of the license plate so we could give it to the police so they could file the driver and passenger/s for a hit and run. After she was rushed inside I followed them and a few security men held me back. "STOP!! IT'S MY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND!"

"Sir you have to wait. We promise that you will get to see her. We are going to call you back. Stay calm lad." I sighed and sat down. I heard some talking and feet running. Everyone came in including Lucas. Eye roll there. Ever since his sweet 'call' everything had gone downhill. Now the girl I love is in the hospital. I felt buzzing in my pocket and took out my phone not bothering to see the caller ID.

"Louis?" Rang Eleanors voice. "What do you want El?" I heard her sniffling. "I-I-I want you back Lou. These past weeks have been complete torture to me. I miss you, your hugs, kisses, and sweetness. I wanna start over." I sighed loudly. "I'm sorry El, but I don't think we can. We can only be friends. I am in a loving rela-" she interrupted me. "I KNEW IT! IT'S ALL ABOUT HER! THAT'S WHY I HIRED THAT GUY! I KNEW THAT YOU WOU-" She stopped for a minute and muttered swear words. What was she-SHE DID THIS. "YOU DID THIS!"

I shouted not caring who heard. "I SWEAR TO GOD I AM GOI-" "Parent/Guardian or family relatives of Mercadies Abigail Cowell?" I shut the mobile and stood up along with the others. "Which one is closest?" "I am ma'am. I'm her boyfriend." She nodded and waved her hand indicating for me to follow. We stopped at a room, 295, and she stopped. She opened the door. And all wrapped up in wires was Mercy.

"Mercy! Thank God you're all right." I grabbed her hand but she didn't respond. I looked at the nurse. She sighed. "Sir there were some minor problems." I held Mercys hand tighter. "She has three broken ribs, missing a kidney, punctured lung, a broken foot, and her voice. She. She can't speak anymore. This is most likely not permanent, but she is signed up for therapy. But for now she is going to have to learn sign language. The therapy will take months. I am guessing the car that had hit her might've hit her neck which had broken most of her vocal cords but not too serious, easy enough to be heeled within a year and a half. I am sorry. But we don't know if her voice will go back to the same."

She nodded and left the room leaving me alone with Mercy. I looked at her all wired up. I let tears fall. I won't get to hear her voice again for so long. I won't get to hear her laughter, sobs, morning voice. All because of Eleanor. THAT LITTLE SHE DEVIL. A knock came towards the door. "Come in." I said my voice cracking. The door opened to reveal everyone but Lucas which I was quite happy for.

"How is she Lou?" Perrie said. I guess she just came along with Dani and Sophia. (A/N: yes I am putting Sophia in this because she makes Liam happy and Dani is in it too because they were friends before. So please don't hate on Sophia because she's perfect too) "She has a three broken ribs, she's missing a kidney, a punctured lung, a broken foot and she's not going to be able to speak for around a year or more maybe. It's all Eleanor's fault. That little bitch hired a guy to run her over." (A/N: again I love El and yeah I am a Larry shipper and Elounor shipper but no hate just for the drama)

Everyone gasped. "Where's Lucas?" "He's out on the mobile phoning someone." An idea struck. "I'll be back guys call me if anything happens." They nodded as I exited the room. I turned and saw Eleanor. I was about to go up ti her until I saw Lucas grabbing her waist, pressing his lips to hers.

No way. I pulled out my mobile and snapped a pic. They let go and I started recording them from afar. "So Lucas I am sure you got the job done? No one suspects that you are the one who is helping me with this?"

"Yes, but I'm not sure about Louis, he seems to be catching on quick. I need to find a way to throw him of track. And once I do, I'll tell Mercy things that will get her attracted to me and not to Louis and he'll catch us together, with her cheating on him and he'll go back to you and we will both have them back in our hands but you still haven't finished the deal."

Eleanor pulled out some keys and entered a room with him. Oh dear lord that was their deal? Sex? I stopped recording and shoved the mobile back in my trouser pocket. I made my way to the room and found that the keys were still outside even though the door was locked.

I turned the key and opened the door. When I opened the door, I turned the light on and found them on the bed under the covers. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!?" They both stopped and looked at me. "I knew you couldn't be trusted. I just knew it."
