(( Before we begin, I'd like to share this with you all! www.wattpad.com/232342917-bits-of-literature-body-frozen-soul-insight. Written by the amazing SarahBarisas. it's her interpretation of what may have happened between the last two chapters. Now, I'm not gonna say whether I've decided to make it canon or not. You can decide that for yourselves when/if you read it. In other news, though, I was so amazed to see this. If anyone else ever wrote something based on my story, I would be so, so honoured. I'll probably link it, too. ;3 Just tag me so I can see it.  Also I wrote a Gravity Falls fanfic and I'm v. proud of it so check it out :3 ))

"Morning, Mike!"

It was Wednesday - 4 days after Mike agreed to go out with Scott, and it was disgusting.

Vincent put his bag down at the wall while Mike and Scott exchanged greetings, their arms wrapped around each other. Ew.

Okay, Vincent admitted to himself that if it was Scott greeting him like that every morning, he wouldn't have a problem with it.

But still.

Ew.

Scott went out of his way to make sure they were always around Vincent whenever they showed affection. Vincent walks in at break time and tries to eat lunch, suddenly Scott gets all kissy and cuddly for Mike. He acts like it's Vincent's problem for walking in on them, but Vincent knew better. This was some form of sick revenge. Do it in front of Vincent, and make him have to watch.

It was working.

Scott broke away and looked over at Vincent, smiling - making sure he saw that display of affection  - "Morning, Vin."

Vincent looked at him and smiled back, his heart doing little flips in his chest.

Oh yeah, there was that, too.

Vincent's infatuation with Scott hadn't gone away. In fact, it looked like it was making itself comfortable. That'd be right, Vincent thought, Go and develop a crush on the most unavailable guy in the pizzeria.

Scott untangled himself from Mike and whispered some sweet nothing, pecking him on the lips before walking to his station.

Vincent watched him go and sighed, glaring at his feet.

Mike gave an awkward, "Uh, g'morning, Vincent," then left to his post as well.

Vincent was at the Show Stage today, Scott was on Dining Hall duty. Vincent leaned against a wall and sighed again, watching Scott playing with some little boy. He was adorable - and Vincent didn't mean the kid. Curse the human heart, for always making you pine for some guy who not only hated your guts, but was in love with somebody else. It wasn't like Scott was going to suddenly run up to him going, "Oh, I know Mike and I are dating, but I suddenly realised he's a jerk, and I'm really in love with you, Vincent."

But still, what he wouldn't do to kiss him, just once. Just to feel Scott's lips on his, his small body against Vincent's own, see him look at him like he looks at Mike...

"Uh oh!" And suddenly there was an arm around his waist, and a shortish dyed-purple haired girl was standing next to him, her eyes narrowed, "Looks like somebody's got a cruuuuuush~!"

Vincent frowned, "Get off me. I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh, shut up," the girl said. "Everyone's noticed it. The way you look at him when you think nobody's watching~"

Vincent rolled his eyes and physically pushed the girl away, "None of your business."

"You're not denying it~" she sung.
