Alex sees a girl in the crowd and can't really believe his eyes. It's the girl he imagined writing Lost in stereo!

They were in the middle of a concert, when Alex suddenly just stopped dead in his tracks. He seemed in a different world and this isn't something new to the other boys. Staring into space he just stands there barely playing his guitar and certainly not thinking about having to sing in a few.

"Alex!", Zack yells over all the music and startles the boy. Alex jumps up and realise it's his time to sing. He hurries over to his microphone to finish the song. But still it's not the same. He isn't jumping around or feeling and moving to the beat. He just stands there, sings and stares at the crowd. The whole band notices it and so Jack runs over.
"What's up?", he screams into his friends ear.
"Huh?", Alex not really turns his gaze to Jack, but at least he glances in his direction.
"Everything alright? You need a minute?", Jack looks genuinely concerned.
"Wha?", Alex asks again, this time actually turning to Jack.
"You totally spaced out. Are having a panic attack? You know, we could cover you for a minute."
"N-no... I'm alright", Alex blinks than looks back at the crowd.
"But... actually... give me a second!", the brunette says and runs of stage. Jacks looks confused, as do all the others and some fans.
"Well... Alex has to pee!", Jack laughs into Alex' microphone. Zack frowns but Jack just starts talking some shit until Alex comes back. So when he appears back on stage the crowd screams and Alex smiles brightly and is back to his normal self.
They perform another song and Zack walks over and asks Alex if he really needed to pee or if he had other reasons to go off stage. Alex was touched about his friends concern. But he just smiled and waved it off.
"Everything alright", he assured Zack and they started the next song.
Now Alex was a bit nervous about it. He wasn't peeing when he ran off stage. He tried to contact Jeff at the lightning to tell him something.
The opening tunes for "Lost in stereo" ring through the hall and Alex starts singing. Again he searches the crowd and makes some signs to where he knows Jeff is sitting.
"Living in the radio lost in the stereo sound... Hit it Jeff!", Alex yells and everyone seems confused as all the lights are turned off. Just one spotlight hits the crowd and Alex grins. Jeff hit her perfectly.
"She's dancing alone, I'm ready to go but she's soooo..."
"Lost in stereo, lost in stereo", Jack and Zack sing.
"She's out of control, so beautiful!", Alex hearts beats so fast he is afraid he'll suffer a heart attack or at least he feels like hyperventilating. He draws a deep breath in.
"And I've been waiting for so long but she'll never know
I'm losing hope cause she's so..."
"Lost in stereo, lost in stereo!"
Some lights on the stage get turned on again, but it stays rather dark. One girl is still in the spotlight. Some of the people around her made a few steps back and watched her for a while before turning their attention back to the band.

They end the song and Alex grins so wide his cheeks hurt.
"Oh my freaking god!", he exclaims once the song ends. The crowd gives a roar and Jack shouts into his microphone.
"What's up Jeff?! Wanna pick up some girl from our crowd?"
"No, I picked her!", Alex shouts, takes his mic and walks over to Zacks side, where the girl is standing. She has a little blush on her cheeks but smiles happily up at the band.
"Raise your hand, beautiful lady over there in the black shirt and blue pants", Alex demands. Shyly she gives a short wave.
"Why the hell she got the spotlight and not I?"
"Shut the fuck up, Jack!", Alex shoots back and turns his back on him. Jack pouts and crosses his arms over his chest but stays silent.
"Sometimes I write songs about something I dream or imagine. Lost in stereo was never inspired by someone I met or saw in real life. I just had the vision of a girl being so into music, that just this love made her shine brighter than the sun. The music makes her even more beautiful and wow. I just can't! It's like... I can't even explain! Imagine you'd like... write a book or something and someday meet someone wo is exactly like a character you created...", Alex still stares with such a loving and impressed look in his eyes at the girl...
"Alex got a cruuhuuuush!", Jack singsongs, but Alex just ignores him.
"You are so the lost in stereo-girl I could cry! Thank you so much for showing up!", Alex flashes her a smile.
"My pleasure!", she shouts back giggling.
"Just stay there dancing and please don't think I'm a creep for watching you for the rest of the concert!", he apologizes already and she just gives him a thumbs up.
"Okay, back on track! Jeff? Light back on us please!"
And they go along how it was planned. But as he said, Alex stared nearly the whole concert at the beautiful girl in the crowd dancing like she's in another world and enjoying every single note of their music as if she's never heard something marvellous.
