Charlotee Banks had just began her second season ,and even though she was a short black beauty, with light green and smooth skin, she was still wildflower because of shyness.

Sitting in thought about her life; she was getting desperate to find a husband in order to escape the demands of her father Lord Banks, who despite been the most caring and understanding father, still did not like the idea of his only daughter been left unmarried.

" my darling girl, you have to understand that am getting old and I could not stand the thought that if before I passed away I left you unprotected, you need a good husband that will care for you and be your companion throughout life. "

Even though she understood him very well it was still hard for her to meet many men during her first season.

Charlotte knew that even if she was considered a beauty her shyness had still stopped her from catching a husband. Everytime she try to make conversation with a gentleman the stutters would start thus makeing everything uncomfortable for both parts.

So she just sat and watched as couples would dance and chat together throughout the season; but this time it would be different, this time it was her turn.

She was waiting to catch a husband Now before her 20th birthday, knowing that it by that time still nothing happened her father would start arranging her marriage to a person that she never meet in maybe not even liked.

So much was the termination that she had agreed to see a tutor that would help her with her sutter.

Her work lasted all throughout winter but her efforts had paid off, the stutter was gone and would only returned when she become very nervous.

As her mind was at work she couldn't help to notice the tall striking man that was looking at her from across the room. He was perhaps six feet an had hair the color of wheat, smooth, shining hair that seem not to obey his command to stay back, his eyes not noticeable as he was far away.

The beating of her heart changed as he started to walk towards her.
