Twas,it was the day of fall, and leaves kissed the ground

The air was chilly, making no sounds

The children laughed and carried the leaves inside

For,they did not know those leaves had died

The orange and yellow tainted the trees

The people had jackets shielding the breeze

Some leaves had browned and withered away

While others were weak but decided to stay

No green grass,it is now a tanned brown

Oh,how the fall colored the whole town

The lady on 9th watching the fall

Until it was night and that seemed it was all

The heartbroken girl plucking the last of the flowers

Admiring the fall for hours and hours

The leaves bid there goodbyes and fell down to dismay

Blew by air,maybe whispered away

Her Prada heels crunched on a leaf

The town was happy content with the peace

Even the kittens and puppies accepted the change

For somehow they knew it wouldn't always be the same

The soccer ball teamed roamed in the fields

A sick mother,by autumn was healed

His bitter tears drip on the yellow

The fall made a change, now he is mellow

The people were happy for only one reason

For this seemed to be there favorite season

Some kids racked pills into black bags

While others played in them with their moms and their dads

The people loved October and November

Afraid to slowly emerge in December

The trees lost there friends, the trees were so tall

Twas,it was the day of change,it was the day of fall
