Chapter ~ 5

Chapter 5 ~ Introducing Bill to Mom

(3rd person pov)

Sunlight beamed through the window as you and Bill slept, Bill was curled up on the floor with a golden colored sleeping bag as you slept sprawled out on the bed.

You yawned and stretched as you sat up from bed, the sun hit your eyes like a rock against a brick wall.

Small breaths could be heard as you stepped over Bill's sleeping body.

You went downstairs and seen your mom sitting at the kitchen table eating some toast with jam.

Bill's eyes opened slowly as he woke up. He stood up and walked down the stairs. He slowly peeked past the corner of the wall and took a glimpse at the kitchen where you and your mother were eating breakfast.

You looked behind you and your eyes widened, you ran to the stairs and pushed Bill up to your room.

"You're not supposed to go down there!" You whisper-yelled at him.

"Sorry, I was just curious..."

"Bill, curiosity killed the cat..."

Bill grumbled as sat on your bed. "When can I go downstairs?"

You sighed and grabbed his hand, his face turned a light pink but you didn't notice since you were looking straight ahead.

The steps creaked as you walked back down the stairs, dragging Bill along.

You stepped into the kitchen with Bill not too far behind.

"Who's this?" Your mother asked, tilting her head.

"Mom, this is my friend Bill, Bill this is my mom." You say, introducing them to each other.

After doing so you took Bill back upstairs and let out a long sigh, "There, that's done and over with, is there anything else?" You asked, letting go of Bill.

"Nope!" He grinned and looked over at Angel.

The black and white cat mewed and padded over to Bill, nuzzling against his side. Angel purred as Bill slid his hand down her back, petting her softly.

"Bill, I'm gonna go explore, wanna come?" You asked holding up the golden colored chain in front of Bill.

"Sure why not," he replied, turning into his dream demon form and attaching himself to the necklace.

You quickly put your sweater on along with the necklace and walked out of your room, closing the door behind you. You went down the stairs and out the door.

"Where are you going?" Your mom asked before you left, "I'm going to explore and look around. I'll be back later!" You replied, closing the door and heading out.
