Who would've known ( Luke hemmings )

Chapter 7

Aurora's POV:

I opened my eyes to the sunlight peeking through my window. It was only 11:40 and I had nothing to do until the girls come and pick me up so i decided to go to the park that I see everyday on my way to school.

I put on some black shorts, my Union Jack tank top and my black and white converse. I put my hair in a messy bun and walked down stairs. My parents and my sister were already eating their breakfast. I quickly mumbled good morning and got a bowl of my favorite cereal of all time fruit loops.

I quickly ate my cereal and went upstairs and brushed my teeth. I got my sunglasses and my phone and went back down stairs. Before I can open the door my mom stopped me and said.

"Aurora, where are you going"

" Im just going to the park, it's not far away from here" I replied

" Alright but be carful sweetie" she said

" Don't worry mom ill be fine" and with that I walked out the door.

I finally got there after 5 minutes of walking. It felt good to be in the park everyone is happy and it just brings back childhood memories. I sat on the swing for a while, just thinking and playing on my phone. When I checked the time it was already 12:35. I got up from the swing and headed to the direction of my house. But before I could completely leave the park I heard the sound of an instrument. I turned around and saw a guy playing the guitar on a park bench, I got closer to him and thats when I realized it was Luke playing the guitar. I hid behind the tree in back of the park bench, and just heard him play his guitar, he was also singing not to loud but loud enough for me to hear. After a few minutes I accidentally stepped on a twig making Luke turn around. I quickly hid behind the tree. I heard him getting closer and closer so I just ran for it, because I didn't want to face him. But before I could get on the street I was pulled back quickly. I realized that if they didn't pull me back I would've been hit by a car. I looked up to see who saved me from being in a hospital bed or even worse. It was Luke, he was the one who saved me. I was looking up at him since he was much taller than me, curse my shortness. We were really close to each other since he had his arm around my waist. I felt safe in his arms and I didn't want to let go but I knew I had to. I got out of his arms and said.

" Thank you for saving me "

" Your welcome " he replied.

And without another word he walked back to where he was leaving me confused. I walked back home still thinking why did he save me I betrayed him, I caused his pain. I walked inside the house and went straight to the shower. I took a nice long shower and just thought about what just happened.

I got out and went inside my room. I put on my coca cola crop top, my denim high waisted American flag shorts and my white converse. I let my hair loose and put on a red bandanna. I put my wallet and my phone in my small shoulder purse and went down stairs. I set my bag on the couch and checked what time it was. It was 1:30 and I still needed another 30 minutes for the girls to come, so I watched a bit of Friends but the truth is I wasn't even paying attention to the show I was still thinking about Luke. Why can't I stop thinking about him?

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a car horn, meaning they were here. I grabbed my bag and told my parents where I was going before i left.

I walked out the door and got inside the car.

" Hey, so what are we gonna be doing today" I asked

"We'll, were going to the mall and there were gonna get a manicure and a pedicure and after that were just gonna go shopping." Replied jasmine

" Sounds fun" I said smiling

And with that we drove off to the mall.

We got to the mall after 15 minutes of driving. The whole entire time we were just singing very loudly to the songs that were playing on the radio.

We all got our manicure and pedicures but Amanda had to snap me back to reality once they were done because the whole time I was just daydreaming.

" So where are we going to now" I asked

" Lets go to The iconic and after that well get some food." Replied Nicole

I nodded and followed them to the iconic. Once we got there I looked at the price and my eyes went wide. I knew I couldn't afford any of this so I just got some accessories. The rest of the girls spend about two hours shopping, once they were done each one had at least 5 bags full of clothes, shoes and accessories. It must be fun to be rich. I miss the stores back at home so much, I guess that ill be shopping online from now on.

Before we left we stopped by the food court and got some McDonalds, I got a caramel frappe and Chicken Mcnuggets while the rest of the girls ate a salad, of course.

Once we finished we headed back to the car and they dropped me off first, they said that they'll pick me up at around 6 tomorrow so we could all go to the football game tomorrow, and so we could practice our cheer before the game starts.

We said our goodbyes and I walked inside the house. I went into my room and lied down on my bed. Its been a long day.
