Once the group got back to Luke's house they gathered blankets, flashlights,pillows, and some food. Once they found the perfect spot of stargaze they sat their things down and started to set up their tents and sleeping bags, once they finished it was almost 6:00. To pass time they decided to play Truth or Dare together.
"Brooklyn,Truth or Dare?" Asked Ryder.
"Dare!" Brooklyn replied.
Ryder smirked then said, "I dare you to hold hands with Luke."
"Okay........"said Brooklyn, then moving to sit next to Luke.
"Okay." Ryder laughed."you ask someone Brooklyn"
Brooklyn Laughed "Kassandra, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare" Kassandra Replied.
"I dare you to have Ryder Give you a Piggy-back ride." Brooklyn said.
"Wait!" Ryder demanded "Why am I involved in this?"
"Because'" Brooklyn said in a serious matter.
"Okay!"Kassandra screamed to get everyone to shut up,"Ryder will you give me a piggy back ride?" Kassandra asked in a calm voice.
"Sure" said Ryder.
Their game continued for another hour before it was finally over. Ryder and Luke went to make a fire while Kassandra dragged Brooklyn into their tent to talk to her privately.
"Brooklyn!" Kassandra said
"What?" Brooklyn asked distractedly ,"what do you want?"
" Do you think Ryder likes me?"
This caught Brooklyn's attention, "Huh?"
"Do you think Ryder likes me?" Kassandra repeated slowly.
"I don't know" Brooklyn said,"sure."
"Okay" Kassandra said with a star struck look.
While the girls continued their conversation the boys were having their own side conversations.
"So?" Said Ryder in a sneaky voice.
"Yeah?" Luke replied sorta creeped out.
"You and Brooklyn?" Ryder suggested.
Luke laughed, "We are just friends dude,The more important question is you and Kassandra."
"Stop it, I got it!" Ryder said a calm voice before continuing ,"I am going to ask her out, But first I need someone's opinion."
The girls returned to a beautifully crafted fire the boys had made.
"Good Job!" Brooklyn said.
"Brooklyn I need to talk to you for a second,Okay?" Ryder asked.
"Okay" Brooklyn responded.
When the fire was burning bright Kassandra and Luke got out marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and some napkins. They began to make s'mores while Brooklyn and Ryder were talking off to the side. Kassandra was worried that Ryder might like Brooklyn so she turned to Luke asking, "Do you think Ryder likes Brooklyn?"
Luke looked at her chuckling slightly the said, " I'm sure he doesn't like her"
They continued making s'mores in silence after that. Brooklyn and Ryder walked over to the pair while smiling. They then sat down and started making s'mores as a group.
They continued making s'mores before they spread out the blankets onto the cold ground. They silently laid down and gazed up at the stars. Brooklyn sighed, "The stars are beautiful."
"They're amazing, Is that Sirius?" Kassandra questioned.
Brooklyn looked at her then said sarcastically," No, that's God."
"I guess that's a yes." Ryder said.
They stargazed up until the early hours of the morning before heading towards their tents.
The next morning they woke to the sounds of nature and headed back to Luke's house and continued with their bucket list.
"Okay, next we are going skydiving and surfing in, drumroll please, SOUTH CAROLINA!" Kassandra yelled.
The other three teens shared a look before Luke spoke up, "Why South Carolina?"
Kassandra gave them an exasperated look before saying," We've been over this, I went there this summer and it had the best waves!"
They all considered that before agreeing because Kassandra was the only one who had been before, this made her their only reliable source.
