Finally let go

Chapter 2

~Cody's P.O.V~

I almost cant take it anymore. I love her so much..... I saw she flinched more then normal, Her brother probably did something...I'm gonna kick his ass. I hear Ashley's annoying laugh and look over and see her push Jesy's locker door and hit her in the face. I ball up my fist and try not to kill her right now. I see her run out the door with tears running down her face. I start to follow her to make sure shes okay. I hear kids yelling at her

"Just kill yourself already"

"Everyone would be happier without you" 

"I'm gonna kill them" I mumble under my breath. I run out and jump in my car and start to follow behind her but not close enough that she would notice.

~Jesy P.O.V~

I just cant take it anymore. Every one would be happier if i was gone. I run out the front doors and start to run down the street at full speed. I don't hear any cars coming so I run across the street into the woods about a mile from the school. I hear my phone start to get notifications which is weird since no one ever texts me. I stop running and look down at my phone and see a lot of texts coming in from unknown numbers. I start reading them one after the other.

'Go kill yourself fag'

'nobody wants you here' 

'Just make everyone happy and die already'

I feel warm tears running down my face as i push my back against a tree trunk and pull my knees to my chest. I quickly search through my bag and find my razor. I pull up my sleeve and start to make slits, one after the other. Soon enough my arm has blood dripping down slowly. I watch as the crimson color slides down my arm and hits the grass beneath me. I freeze when I hear someone behind me walking and breathing heavily. 

"Whos there" I ask as i quickly adjust myself to hide my arm. They slowly walk around the trunk of the tree and I freeze. 

"What do you want, just leave me alone so I can do what everyone wants." I press my back against the wall again and pull out my razor waiting for him to leave.

"Who said I want that" He says slowly. I freeze and stare straight ahead of me worried what hes going to do next. 

"Jes I have loved you from the moment I layed eyes on you." He says to me kneeling infront of me.

"Yeah right don't lie, if you did then you wouldn't hurt me the way that you do for 9 years." I try to make myself smaller so he might leave me alone.

"I can't let you hurt yourself Jesy I love you to much I thought you would never like me back since all of the shit I did to you over the years."

"And? that still doesn't give you a right to bruise me and make fun of me for 9 fucking years asshole!"

"Jes please listen to me, I did it to fit it but now I realize how much you need someone, and I want to be that someone no matter how many people make fun of me. From now on I am going to protect you and until you believe that I truly do love you I will wait and stop fucking around with dumb bimbos."

I look at him and tackle him in a hug and cry my eyes out. I feel him pick me up so I wrap my arms around his neck. I slowly feel myself drift into sleep. 

~Cody's P.O.V~

She's so gorgeous when she sleeps. I set her gently into my truck and close the door. I get in and drive to my house so I can keep an eye on her. I pull in the driveway and put my arm under her head and under her legs making sure I don't accidentally touch her in anyway she won't like. I carry her into my house and up to the bathroom. I shake her awake slowly and make sure she doesn't freak out. She screams once her eyes are open. d

"Where the fuck am I and what are you gonna do to me!" She yells.

"Jesy calm down you forgave me and I took you to my house to make sure your safe" I tell her calmly. She breaths and finally calms down. She relaxes into the counter I set her on.
