I woke up and checked the time. 8:39. I smiled. Today was my baby girl's birthday. She's 16. I picked up my phone a called her. She picked up on the third ring. "Hello?" I smiled at her morning voice. I started singing happy birthday and I could just feel her smiling. "Oh my God Kevin. Thank you." I smiled. "Your welcome. Hey, I wanna take you out tonight, you know, after you spend time with your family and stuff." I waited for her answer thinking of what we can do. "Okay. I'd like that." I smiled, "So I'll pick you up at 8?" "Yeah. See you then." She hung up and I got ready for today.

"I gotta go, I need to go down to rent out the hotel room and stuff." I walked out and got into my car and drove to the Embassy Suites, where me and my princess are gonna be staying. I turned into the parking lot and got out the car felling happy. "Hey, uh I'm here to check on a reservation for Alston." The man behind the counter did some typing then looked at me. "Kevin?" I nodded yes. "Here are two room keys, you guys are in room 28 on floor 7. And the ballroom will need to be done being used by 9 pm tonight. Have a wonderful night Mr. Alston." I smiled and thanked him and went up to my room. I smiled at its size and everything. Then I remembered I bought a dress for Alessia last week. I pulled it out with some flats, knowing she hates wearing heels. I out the things on the bed and left a note with them. Happy birthday Princess. Your finally 16. Your gettin old Ma. Just playing. But this is for you and there are some flats right next to it since I know you hate heels. :)))  Your mom said it was okay to sleep over and everything. You also have a bag of clothes in the closet but when your done go outside and follow the sticky notes to find me. -Kevin.
I smiled and walked out and locked the door. I gotta have someone put the sticky notes on the walls and stuff. "Kevin?" I turned around and saw someone who looked like they worked here. "Yeah?" "Are you doing the surprise for your girlfriend...um...Alessia Hernandez?" I smiled, "That's me." "Okay. I'm Zach. I'm gonna help you with all this." I gave him the sticky notes and told him everything. "Alright thanks bro. I'll see you at 5." I walked out as Zach finished up the playlist and the table. I drove to Alessia's house to go pick her up. "Alright Kev. You got this. She's yo girl. That's yo girl." I nodded as I got out the car and knocked on the door.
