"Once a playa when I was little, I'm bigger and your bigger." My alarm went off, playing Bigger by Justin Bieber a.k.a Daddy asf. I got out of bed and kinda hurried to the bathroom. I had to pee. "Good morning Lessie." Said my mom as I stepped into the bathroom. "Mornin' Ma!" I yelled back. I did my business and washed my hands then looked in the mirror. My hair looked like a birds nest. Ya see, my mom is Spanish and my dad is African American. So I have curly hair and a light skin complexion. I took my hair out of its bun and walked out the room. "Hola ñina. How did you sleep?" "Fine. I had that dream again." "Really? I'm so sorry mi amor. We really should try and fix it." I get nightmares if you haven't caught on, and sometimes they are really scary. "Nah ma. I'm okay. Hey could I go to Stephanie's house today?" I asked looking at my phone. "After you shower and eat yes." "Thanks mom!" I kissed my mom's cheeks and ran upstairs. I picked out my blue and lace peplum shirt, black jeans and black vans (DAMNN DANIEL. okay sorry). I went into the bathroom and turned on the water and got undressed. If your wondering where my dad is, he doesn't live with us. Well, he really isn't living to be blut.
He died cause a OD (over dose). It hurt but now I kinda don't think of it that much. But most times it still gets to me that I won't have my daddy walk me down the aisle. I shock my head and turned on Life Goes On by Tupac and got in the shower. I washed my hair and body and got out 30 minutes later. I got dressed and air dried my hair and just left it down. I got my phone off the charger and put on some studs. I went down stairs and saw my mom setting the table. "Orange juice to drink ma?" I asked getting in the fridge. "No thanks I have coffee." I sat down and waited for my mom to be done. "What are you and Steph gonna do?" "I don't know, her cousin Daniel is supposed to be coming over with his friends, we might go to the movies." "Ohhhh. Daniel...have we ever met him?" "No. This will be my first time meeting him." My mom sat down and she grabbed my hands. "Dear Lord, thank you for today. Thank you for waking us up heathy and happy. Give your blessing on today and this food. Amen." I said amen and started to eat. We soon finished and I grabbed my keys and my portable charger. "Bye mom. Te amo!" I said as I walked out the door. Stephanie lives five houses down from us. I walked and saw a black Mercedes Benz outside Stephanie's house. "Must be Daniel and his people." I walked into the house without knocking cause me and Stephanie do that. She's basically my sister. "Alessia?" Stephanie called from the kitchen. "It's me llama." I took my shoes off and locked the door and went into the kitchen. I noticed five new faces. "Alessia this is Tía Nicole and Tío Daniel Sr." I walked over and gave them hugs and the traditional kiss on the cheek. Stephanie walked over to the boys about our age and said," This is Daniel, Devin, and Kevin."
