17 year old Katerina Salvatore has a secret.
She's a blood - sucking vampire.
Along with her brothers Stefan and Damon, she's learned how to keep her hunger maintained.
On her 18th birthday, Stefan and Damon give her a journal. A family - airloom book that her great uncle, Jack Salvatore wrote. In that journal, it read how vampires and werewolves are sworn enemies, and how Jack survived through a fight with them. It also reads how to kill them, and for good.
The 3 Salvators want revenge on the McCalls. The ones who murdered their parents.
But 4 days before the attack, the journal gets stolen. And Katerina demands to get it back.
But, what if not all the McCalls are evil?
One day, Katerina discovers that a McCall goes to her school. Scott. They start to get to know eachother day by day. Then finally, Katerina realizes that not all of them are evil.
But, none of their families agree. They still both despise eachother. They still want to kill. But now, they're even more full of pure hatred.
The McCalls think Katerina bit Scott, while the Salvatores think that Scott bit Katerina. They both show their families that they don't have any bites, but their hatred is getting the best of them, they don't believe it one bit.
And now, they're planning on fighting. The biggest fight ever between the McCalls and the Salvatores.
Katerina and Scott must find a way to stop them. All of them. But, it's going to be risky.
How will Katerina and Scott prove to them that there doesn't exactly have to be a thick wall between eachother?
