8: The fight

"Someone said you were gay" said Chico approaching me in the front of the school. "Well someone didnt catch the memo because my princess is right here" I say leaning in to kiss Naiya. "I see... anyways they said that no guy should take care of themselves that much" chico said crossing his arms. "Thats bullshit, all I do is put on lotion and chapstick... so what bummy ass nigga are we finna fight?" I question. "De'Raun" blurts Chico throwing air blows. "Aye I'm jumping in too" says Naiya. "No you're not" I laugh "Let's go".
"What's really good De'Raun?" Said Chico throwing his arms in the air. "Yo, I see you brought gay boy" he laughs. "Shut the fuck up!" Naiya snaps. "You shut the fuck up trick ass bitch!" He yells. "Who the fuck are you yelling at?" Claps Monae who came around the corner with DJ "I know you weren't talking to my little 'sister' like that" laughs DJ. Dani, Evyn, Kylah and my new friend Carlos who looks somewhat like me except with brown hair weren't too far behind. "Man... see I'm not trynna start shit" says De'raun trying to walk away.
"Too late nigga" I took a swing at him. He quickly blocked it "Wooh!" He laughs before attempting to jab me in my neck, after dodging I plant my right fist in his cheek and then alternate until he falls. He gets back up and pulls up his pants. He punches me my arm making it go limp leaving the left side of my face open, he lays a punch on my eye. "Shit!" I grunt before going back in. "HEY!" Mr. Howie shouted marching towards us. "Hey principal Howie" said Dani trying to give me some time to run, De'Raun ran the opposite way. "Hot fish sticks" mumbled Mr. Howie.
I waited in the car for Naiya, Dani, Carlos and Chico who I was supposed to pick up because we were all going to watch a movie. "Guess who?" Said Dani ducking her way into the back "It's Danielle Tiller" I yelled. "Don't call me that" she groans as Chico and Carlos push her to the other side.
"What movie are we gon' see?" Asks Naiya rubbing my arm. "We're the Miller's" I say humming Waterfalls by TLC. "But that movie came out like three years ago" says Carlos buckling up. "I said we were seeing a movie correct?" I smirk driving off. "You're so cheap!" Naiya said punching my arm.
