Elsa wandered down the corridor sleepily and gasped slightly when she reached the floor's waiting room. Slouched down in one of the chairs, fast asleep, was Jack.

She crept over to him and slowly sat down in the seat next to his. His hand was hanging down, something clenched inside it.

Carefully Elsa uncurled his fingers from around the paper and unfolded it.

His letter.

She glanced over at Jack, who was still fast asleep, and took the letter back to her father's room. After wrapping her blanket around her and settling down on the sofa, she started to read.

Once she reached the bottom, Elsa realized she hadn't breathed in a while. She took a few deep breaths and looked back down at the letter. She read it again slowly, and then again fast. She read it over and over, hoping it would unscramble her thoughts.

After reading it for the seventh time she sighed and looked up to her father. She wandered over to the chair next his bed and sat down.

"I wish you were awake daddy... You always know what I should do, even when I'm completely lost myself... I remember when I had my first crush. I walked up to you and I said 'There's this boy daddy, I really like him.' Then you sighed and said, 'Boys are no good sweetie, they'll just waste your time.' I was starting to think you were right all along." Elsa laughed and looked down at the letter again.

"And then Jack came along." She smiled and folded up the letter. "I really like him, daddy. I might even love him. And I think I wanna be with him, but I just thought, maybe if you gave me a sign, I would know for sure that it's not a mistake."

She squeezed his hand with a nervous laugh. "They said you could still be able to hear everything going on around you... I really hope you can hear me."

Then, Elsa felt her hand being slightly squeezed back. She let out a small gasp, then started to grin from ear to ear. "I love you dad, wake up soon." She kissed him on the cheek and walked back over to the sofa. Before she sat down she turned back to her father, "I'll talk to Jack tomorrow."

Jack stretched his arms out with a yawn as the morning light shone through the hospital window. He looked around drowsily, then realized something... His letter was gone.

Quickly he jumped out of his chair and searched around for it, but obviously, was unable to find it.

He jogged over to the information desk and waited for the nurse to finish her phone call.

"Yes... Okay, bye bye. " She clicked the phone down and looked up at Jack. "How can I help you?"

"I just wondered, is it okay for me to visit Agnarr Fray now? It's very important."

"Hold on," She said as she flipped through a file folder. "You'll need a family member of his to accompany you until 10am."

"But... it's 9:57?" Jack frowned at his watch. "Do three minutes really matter?"

"If you think three minutes don't matter then I'm sure you'll have no problem waiting-"

"It's okay, he's with me."

Jack spun around on his heels and found himself staring at Elsa. She turned and walked back down the corridor and Jack followed, silently, until she stopped and faced him.

"Elsa," He whispered, "I'm sorry, I'm so-"

Before he could finish his sentence Elsa leaped forward and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her in the air slightly.
