It's a cold Wednesday morning. There is a thick coating of clouds hanging in the sky. Cecelia just got out of an eight o'clock class which means it's ten o'clock. It's a mile walk from her class to the little coffee shop on campus. She feels like the bags drooping under her eyes are telling her she needs to go while her legs are telling her they can't make it. For she stayed up late last night studying for her test and decided to go for a run in the middle of studying to give herself a little break. Now she's regretting both. After weighing out both options she feels she should get some coffee if she wants to make it through the rest of the day. Plus she knows the main worker at the shop and knows she will cheer her up the minute she walks through the door. When Cecelia gets to the shop she see's that the shop is empty. So right when she walks in she hollers out the main Barista's name. She is confused when Constance doesn't holler back. Constance has worked there for 50 years and has only been out because of bronchitis. Now Cecilia was worried and anxious to see if Constance was ok. Right as she was about to yell out again a young boy about her age comes out from the back. He must notice the confused look on her face for he says," Im sorry, are you okay?" Cecelia doesn't respond right away because she is trying to figure out why a young boy is standing in the place of her old friend Constance. A few moments later she becomes suddenly aware of the boys charming good looks and blushes as red as a cherry. Slowly backing towards the door Cecelia stutters a few words she's never heard before and abruptly stumbles out the door. Once out the door she realizes she didn't even catch his name.
