Some start to believe in superheroes because life hits them hard, others because they believe in wonders or they just want to escape.

No matter why you start to believe in them, just make them real and got them a friend in you.

"Should I take my shoes off?"-"No, it's fine. I haven't hoovered my room anyways. It' is upstairs."
Just imagine this situation: two guys in front of the stairs, no one of them moving. Like they are waiting for a signal to move.

We could hear steps from our living room and this was the signal. Both of us tried to run upstairs but first we were stuck, then we slipped, finally we fell on our faces. This is typically for me. Laughter was heard from behind.

"Your talents are infinity, bo. I am Harry. You must be Luke, nice to meet you." Harry smiled happily. "Hey, that's right, nice to meet you, too."-"Do you need anything? Pizza? Drinks? Condoms?"-"Harry! Get the f**k out of here" I yelled at him. "Maybe Pizza?"-"Sure, Luke. Bo you should be a better host for once, perhaps then you would get a girlfriend." I turned as red as a tomato. Luke seemed to be very amused about it. "Have fun, you two. I will bring the pizza upstairs when it's here."
We got up. I dragged Luke to my room. "I am sorry. He is ... a special type of older Brother, you know?" His expression changed from a smile to something I could not sort: "Yes I know."-"Are you alright?"-"Sure I am, nothing to worry about. Hey, do you drum?"-"No, the drum kit is just decoration. I use to play the harp." I tried to be serious while telling him but I started to giggle when I finished the sentence. I always laugh more about my jokes more than others but he started to laugh along with me. Nevertheless the looked confused. "Yes, I am a drummer and you?"-"I would like to, but I am playing the guitar."-"Hey, that is at least as cool as drumming."-"I have an idea," he shouted: "show you some bits on the drums and when you are over at my house I show you something on guitar, deal?"-"Deal." He walked over to my drum kit and sat down. "Okay, take the drumsticks and... "I started laughing. He held the sticks the other way around: "Wait, I show you how to hold them." I stepped behind him and moved his hand into the right position. "So now it's better. Let's start: Frist the small tom twice, then once the medium tom, once the bass and then again from the beginning." A shirt silence filled the room: "What?" He was clearly confused. To my disgrace I burst out into laughter, again. He blushed. "I am sorry, I didn't meant to laugh. It just made remember me something."

I took his hands, again, and slowly moved them like I told him to, so he could remember it on his own. They are warm and soft, a nice feeling. It had been a long time since I felt something so good. Never mind.
I assume that I stated to smile stupidly because Luke asked me if I am alright. 'Stupid I.' Serious. Sirius. Serious. "Errr, yes. You did a pretty good job."-"Thanks," he looked so proud. "What about a movie now?"-"Yes." He went over to my DVD rack. My brain is still everywhere else but not in my head. Of course he noticed it when he turned around with one of my DVD's in his hand. My face turned into a poetically tomato red.

"What about this movie?" he asked a little shy. Most of the DVD's are presents still in their original packaging. Only four of them are unwrapped. I bought them. He held one of my movies up, my favourite superhero movie. "Sure."-"Normally I am the only one who wants to see a Superhero movie."-"Now, you know another Nerd." We placed ourselves on my bed and started to watch the movie.

It was great to have somebody around as nerdy as yourself. Who understands your boring self and likes to talk about this stuff. Most times I feel like being a loner because people seem to avoid me. So it is great to be around somebody. Even though I am afraid of people because you cannot foresee what they are going to do.

We had a great time together, apart from the fact that my brother made some "funny" comments when he brought the pizza to my room: "Mum and Dad will be home late today, if there are coming home. I will meet some friends, so have nice time and remember: 'protection before repentance." He ran down stairs before I could answer anything. "I am sorry he can be a jerk."-"That's fine. What did he meant with 'if there are coming home'?"-"Our family have got an apartment near my parent's office, down town. Since my brother and I are almost grownups they use to stay there overnight, sometimes."-"That's sad, isn't it?"-"Why?"-"Doesn't it feel like they don't want you?" He bit his lip like it is something forbidden to ask. "Maybe, but we are used to it. They always worked a lot so we don't know it differently." I thought about it and my face changed. He is right, more or less. I mean they didn't know much about me. They forgot that I am playing the drums or that I got my report card a week ago.

Is it crazy that somebody you met some days ago is closer to you than your own parents? That he knew more about you than them? Is it crazy to feel like having another family member? Or am I just a crazy, mad person?

Suddenly he hugged me. "Don't be sad or anything. Therefore people have friends." It wasn't a hug you gave your boyfriend. It was one you gave your baby brother when he had confessed something. I wasn't sure how to reacted.

What he just sad is more of an advice than I ever got from my parents. In fact it is more like they are waiting for us to move out so they can sell the house and live in there office. Yes, parents with this salary are an advantage but you lose more than you think to the money.

Tears started to roll down my cheek. I felt dump about crying. Like a girl that just ruined her nails. I am not a cry baby but he must think so, I kinda hate me for this attitude. I wiped my tears off: "It is childish to cry about things you cannot change. I am sorry." He didn't answer.

I clearly massed up.

Some moments pasted and we were just sitting there.

It took a bit for me to calm down. "So now stop crying, you look much better without those tears in your eyes. Whenever you need help I am here. I promise."-"But how can you be sure about it? We are hardly friends, or?"-"We are."-"How do you know if somebody is your friend?"-"Are you joking?"

I didn't answer because, yes it is true, I never real had friends before. When I meet people it is hard for me to tell what we are, therefore I never made good friends over the last years. "You are not joking?" It was more of a remark than a question. "Well, you are friends with somebody when you think it is sad that you haven't meet earlier in life. When you found somebody you would love to be in a mantel hospital with only because of a conversation a random person overheard."-"Thank you, for the explanation." We both stated to laugh. "Nothing to be thankful for." There were a silence, a comfortable one not an awkward one as before. "Errr, Luke I know it will seem wired but would you like to spend the night here? It isn't weekend, so if you don't want to it is fine. I don't want you parents being mad at you."-"I'll text them."

He wrote the message and we went back to watching movies. We didn't talk. That was fine. Silence can say more than words.

When we were done my brother was still out and my parents didn't even bothered me with a text. But today it wasn't a problem for me I am with a friend.

"It is late." He woke me up out of my thoughts. "Right , we should better sleep now." I walked over to my closet. "Here is something you can wear." I throw a pyjama over to him. "Thank you," He grinned when he saw the ninja turtles on it. I hadn't noticed when grabbing it. Without any sing of hesitation he turned round and started to change. I did the same, trying to be faster than he. But it doesn't worked out, as usual. I heard gasp behind me. 'Shit' I took my shirt on while saying: "It looks horrible, doesn't it?" I sad in a sarcastic voice. "Yes indeed, it is a little shocking. Who...?"-"Kanii. But it is fine. I can take more. The kids in my old school were way more dreadful than he is, it is almost a relief to have him as my torturer now."-"You are incurable optimist in a strange way, do you know?" I smiled tiredly. Harry use to say this all the time. "Maybe I am. By the way the ninja turtles suites you," I told him laughing, just to change the topic. He blushed and mumbled a thank you before he also started to giggle. "You can sleep in my bed. I take the couch."-"Don't be silly. I can take the couch."-"No, I am the host, you heard my brother and I would like to have a girlfriend one day."-"Listen, smalltalk is something fine if we weren't friends so let us share the bed, if that's okay for you." As fast as my smile, over his suggestion, had appeared on my face, it vanished: "Sure, it is big enough."
