Altered Fate

Somewhere in the Multiverse

"It is almost time. We must choose the next mortal to carry the blade." Says a gruff voice in the dark.
"Yes, but we must choose one." Says another, this time a young females.
All of a sudden, two orbs appear. In one, we see a young boy racing another boy, slightly older and with silver hair, across a beach (we know it's Sora). In the other, a young man, possibly 23, reading a manga book with the title: Kingdom Hearts.
"I say the boy on the beach." Declares the gruff man.
"Why not the older boy? He already has an idea of what he would be dealing with. I choose him." Perks up the young female. "SILENCE!" Booms a third voice, clearly a more elderly woman's.
The two previous entities then become silent.
"We must have someone who understands the situation and can handle the shock. I say we choose the older boy."
The gruff male gives a deep sigh of defeat.

"Well. I finally finished the second series of the Kingdom Hearts manga." Says the young man.
"Hey, John! When are you going to come out?" Says a young females voice outside John's door.
"Hang on. Let me get some shoes."
John suddenly feels like something is off. As he is trying to figure out what, he hears the girl outside his door screaming.
"Aurora! What's wrong?"
John rushes out the door, just in time to see a creature he's faced on a certain video game.
"Heartless!? How?"
Use the blade...
"Wha-?"
Summon your blade. Defend the light and protect the weak.
John realizes all that's going on is real. He takes a big breath and concentrates. As he focuses, a bright light fills the room. After hearing a clicking sound, John opens his eyes. In his hand, amazingly, is a Keyblade. It is blue with the shape of a black dragon head on the end. He got into a stance to fight, but apparently the light scared the heartless away. He then turns to his friend, Aurora. She has a black v shirt and is wearing a red jacket with gold trimmings. She seemed like she was in shock.
"Aurora, you okay?" John asked, kneeling by her.
"Da-darkness. N-n-nothing bu-but darkness." Stutters Aurora.
"Don't worry, Aurora, I will protect you." says John.
Suddenly, it seems like an earthquake hits. He look outside, which reveals that Heartless are destroying and devouring the land. An eclipse is also seen in the sky.
"How is this happening?" John asks in disbelief. Just as he returns his gaze to Aurora, he see a cloaked figure pick her up and walk towards a portal.
"Hey! Put her down!"
The cloaked figure turned halfway, only revealing his mouth.
"A door has been opened." He says, his voice sounding disembodied.
"What are you talking about? Tell me!"
"You possess the power to stop it. To lock or unlock. You must decide. The fate of the world's rest on your shoulders."
With that, the figure steps into the portal. John tries to follow, but falls into a portal that appears out of nowhere on the floor.
"AURORA!"
Darkness soon fell over him as the portal sealed.

"Help! Somebody help me!"

"Hang on! I'm almost there!"

"Ahhh!"

"Nooooo!"
*******
"Ugh."
John wakes up, with a nasty headache. He takes a moment to rub his temple's, then reality hits him. He jumps up and takes in his surroundings. He apparently landed in some courtyard as it appears.
So it was all true, he thinks. Aurora was now somewhere in who-knows-what-shape, and the Kingdom Hearts game and manga has some truth to it. He always never left Auroras side. He felt more like an older brother for her, and he felt he failed protecting her.
"Hey!"
John turn and notice Donald Duck running into the courtyard looking frantic, so he dives into a bush.
"Goofy! Queen Minnie wants to see us!"
I notice Goofy wake up on a round hedge.
"What she need us fer, Donald?"
"I don't know, now get up, lazy bones."
John chuckles, which catches Goofys canine ears.
"Okay, who goes there?"
He approaches the bush John was in. John gives a sigh of defeat, and gets out of the bush, hands up.
"Sorry, Goofy. I just woke up here, and overheard your conversation with Donald."
"Well, guests we-wait a minute, how did you know me and Donald's names?"
John sighs.
"I will tell you when we meet Queen Minnie."
Goofy shrugs and takes John to the library, where the queen and wizard duck was waiting.
"Hey, who's this guy, Goofy?"
John then speaks up.
"First off, my name is John. I'm from a world where what I'm going through is all in a video game. Let me start from the beginning...."

(5 hours later)
"...And that's how I got here."
Queen Minnie, Donald, and Goofy look at John, clearly baffled by my story. It was 5 minutes of silence until the queen spoke up.
"May we see your Keyblade, John? "
John shrugs and lifts his hand up, summoning his Keyblade.
Donald and Goofy gasp, while Queen Minnie admires the blade.
"So another wielder of the keyblade is here?" says a female voice. John turns towards a balcony where he heard the voice, and sees a girl. She had red/black hair, ruby-red eyes, and she was wearing a red minidress with black trimmings and dark red pants. She jumps down, and walks towards the gang. She extends her hand.
"Hey, the names Ruby."
