Beasts of the Ocean

John stares at the newcomer, but extends his hand and shakes hers.
"The name's John. "
"Heh, nice meet you."
After they shook hands, Queen Minnie coughed to grab our attention.
"Now that introductions are done, I want to know if you two will help save the worlds?"
John looked around him, knowing Donald and Goofy will accompany him, but when he looked towards Ruby, she chuckles.
"You're not getting rid of me that easy."
John chuckles back.
"Glad to hear," says the queen, "now I wish you four good luck."

(2 hours later)
(John's pov)
I felt like I was bouncing off all the walls in the gummi ship. Sure, I am still in shock about the situation, but I was so pumped that my feelings were true about there being other worlds out there (even if they are based on a video game).

"Okay, let's see where we are going first." Says Donald.
A holographic map appears, showing we were still in the orbit of Disney Kingdom. I notice a sphere appear on the map.
"Looks like we are going to... uh, Alandis?" Goofy asks.
"No Goofy. Atlantis is its name."
Donald facepalms.
Nice! I just hope we don't need to face the Leviathan first.
Just as I was going to say something about it, we are enveloped in a bright light. Next thing I know, (after my eyes adjust) we were on a ship. Goofy suddenly runs to the ledge. Guess he gets seasick easily.
I chuckled and put my hands in my pockets, enjoying the way the sea waved, until someone pushes me aside, clearly seasick as well.
"Carrots, why did it have to be carrots," says the young man. I look him over, noting his barely muscular build, shaggy dirt-blonde hair, and oversized frames for glasses.
"Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to push you aside like that."
"Its fine," I say, "usually happens a lot to me." I give him a big smile. The man then straightened up and extends his hand.
"My name is Milo Thatch."
"Nice to meet you, Milo. I'm John," I then point to the rest of the group, "that's Donald, and the one at the railing is Goofy, and over here is-?" I then notice Ruby is not with us.
What happened to her?
"Hey!"
I look up towards the entrance to the bridge, and notice Ruby with an older person with pointed sideburns and goatee.
"Ah, there she is. That's Ruby."
And she's found Mr. Whitmore, I think to myself.

(2 hours after diving in the submarine)
"Man, I feel bad for Milo," I say after his speech on the Leviathan.
"Gawsh, is there such a beast down here?" Goofy asks, clearly nervous.
I was about to answer, but then I heard something. It sounded like wet footsteps, which I found odd, since everything inside was dry. Suddenly, Donald cried out.
"Barrier!"
Ruby, Donald, Goofy, and I are suddenly surrounded by a force field, and all around us are squid-like Heartless, shooting water and ink at us.
"Looks like we have unwanted hitchhikers."
I summon my keyblade, as did Ruby. I took note that Rubys keyblade had a dark red blade, with the head shaped like a flower. On it's keychain is a ruby stone.
"Okay, gang, lets show the Heartless to not mess with us!"
Once the force field dies down, I jump and do a side way spin attack, apparently drawing the Heartless in like a tornado. Donald used thunder spells, which fried them. Goofy just knocked them around until when they were grouped together, which he then jumps into the air and body slams them with his shield. Ruby, which caught most of my attention, summoned red petals around her keyblade and, when pointing at heartless, shot the petals, resulting in shredded heartless.
Once the Heartless were all gone, we turn to each other, ready to hi five. Until...
"What. Was. That!?"
The source of the voice was from Milo.
