Chapter 19- doctors appointment

Christmas came and went just as quickly, Miranda still hadn't made contact not even a merry Christmas, the only reason she knew I was pregnant was because Sam came over a couple times to visit Eric.

Today was my 12th week of being pregnant, it sure has gone fast.

Eric and I were going to the doctors for an ultrasound to see how my little bundle of joy was doing, I have gotten a bit bigger and Casey always picks on me, she has now gone to calling me 'chubs'

"Are you ready to go bub?" Eric asked.

I smiled and took his hand, we got out of the car and headed for the doctors, once inside I began to get very nervous.

At the moment Eric was the only support I had, Justin went off to LA to work for Henry, Casey was currently preparing for college with Diego and like I said earlier Miranda still was ignoring me.

"Rosalia Montoya" my name was called.

I stood up and Eric followed behind, I followed the doctor into a room, where a bed and the ultrasound machine were placed.

"Please lay down and lift up your shirt Miss Montoya" the doctor said, I did what I was told and laid out on the bed.

Eric took my hand as we waited, "this might be a bit cold" she said before putting the control to my belly.

I turned my head to watch the screen, I was so excited to see my little baby.

I continuously watched the screen until two spots came up.

"Excuse me, what is that second things?" I asked, frantically.

"That Miss Montoya would be your second baby, it seems your having twins" she explained.

I gasped, I was carrying to bubs, I looked over at Eric and he had a wide grin on his face.

"We're having twins baby" he said excitingly.

"Would you like to know the sex's?" The doctor asked.

I was trying to get over the fact I hadn't noticed how big my belly was.

"Rosie?" Eric asked.

"What sorry?" I zoned back in.

"Do you want to know the sex's?" He asked.

"Yes of course!" I stated excitingly.

"Okay let's see" the doctor said moving the wand around.

"This little one on the left is a.... Girl" she said.

I smiled, yay I was getting a little girl.

"And this little one on the left is a boy" she stated.

Eric and I looked at each other with glee, "one boy and one girl, that is absolutely perfect" I stated.

"Would you like a picture?" She asked.

I nodded happily, in less than 9 months I will have two beautiful babies.

After we left the doctors I was quite sleepy, but I wanted to tell everyone the good news.

I put an ultrasound photo in an envelope with a little letter 'say hello to your niece and nephew' for Justin, and put it in the post box outside our house.

Next I walked over with Eric to Casey's house.

I didn't bother knocking, instead walking straight in, "casey?" I shouted, her dad had left to go back to Hong Kong after Christmas.

"Upstairs" she shouted back.

Eric and I walked upstairs quickly, I was so excited, Casey and Diego were lying on the bed playing COD.

She paused the game immediately, "soooo! Boy or girl?" She asked.

I smiled widely, taking Eric's hand in mine before replying, "both!"

It took a while for them to realise but Diego did first and jumped up excitingly to hug, then Casey doing the same, we showed them the ultrasound before heading back home.

I climbed into bed with Eric snuggled up behind me, this was the happiest news I have ever heard.
