The New Chosen

Chapter 4

       I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock Going off and I about smashed the thing to pieces when I threw it on the ground making a thud. Percy and Annabeth my adopted parents came running into mine and Caroline's room.
       "What in the name of Hades?!" Percy shouted seeing I broke my alarm clock..... Again. Annabeth chuckled "perc, it's not the first or last time this will happen". He rolled his eyes and I smiled "hiiiiiiii!" I said and he laughed softly.
Caroline groaned and threw her pillow over at me from across the room "shut up! I'm tryin to sleep" she yelled pulling her covers over her head. I laughed at her and threw it back. Annabeth smiled down at me "happy birthday sweetie" she said and kissed me on the forehead. Percy did the same expect he slipped me a few drachmas. I chuckled at the coins and he smiled as him and Annabeth left the room.
I got up and got ready for the day. I threw open my closet doors and and grabbed the first things I saw. An orange camp half-blood T-shirt, short shorts with holes , in which I made, a pair of brown combat boots and of course my sword. And just so you know I didn't name it. I slung my sword on my side and grabbed my dagger also hiding it in my boot... I didn't want Mason to see it. I threw my hair up into a messy bun, but before I left I looked in the mirror and pulled up my shirt revealing the cut. It looked a lot better then it did last night, still a little puffy and yellow so I went to the bathroom and turned on the faucet. The next thing I know the water started to rise and moved to the cut, it started healing it faster than before. Than I noticed Percy at the door moving his hand a frown upon his face.
His eyes met mine and I looked away, he walked over and pulled me into a hug once the wound healed completely. I hugged him back as tight as I could

"Mason?" He asked. I nodded.
"I'll talk with Jason, I know he and piper will figure something out"
" alright, Thank you Percy" I said.
I couldn't stay there much longer so I left saying that I had to met Thomas. It wasn't a total lie alright! And come on like you've never lied to your parents before.

I met up with Thomas Outside of bunker 9, he told me his dad didn't use it anymore unless he absolutely had to. So he gave it to Thomas. He pulled me in and before I knew what happened he pulled to his chest and his lips were against mine. I smiled widely as he did and I wrapped my arms around his neck as his were wrapping around my waist.
Thomas groaned and pressed his forehead against mine" gods I missed this...." He whispered
"I know, but you know what they'll say if they found if we're together. Caroline, Alexa, and Isaac would kill us both." I say
He nodded "I understand. But I don't know how much longer we can keep this up."
I looked into his eyes and smiled "don't worry about that right now, come on its my birthday! We're both supposed to be happy" I chuckled
He laughed and nodded handing me a little white box. I opened it and my eyes widened. Inside were a pair of tiny sliver trident ear rings and a sliver lighting bolt necklace. I hugged him as tight as I could.
"Gods I love you!"
"I love you too Lydia" Thomas said kissing me in the lips a again while he chuckled softly.
