Moon and Winter

A/N my favorite ship!!!!! Oh and this is in the future.

The headaches were back and I still couldn't make them go away. Even what Darkstalker told me to do wasn't working. Suddenly I felt a cold wing wrap around me.

"You doing alright Moon?" Winter asked. The headaches had been going on for a few weeks and now I'm getting worried.

"I wish. This is the second one today." I replied back. Winter pulled me to his chest and hugged me. I dropped my wings, letting his encircle me fully. Maybe we can head back to the school so you can talk to Darkstalker?" (A/N Darkstalker is out but helps out at the school) I nodded and we flew from our house that was nestled high in the rain forest trees but not to high or Winter would be to hot. The flight was awful. I nearly dropped out of the sky many times but Winter stayed under me in case if I fell I would just fall onto him. I knew we were almost there when a rush of dragonet thoughts were coming in. I groaned as I sloppily slipped each thought into a rain drop. We touched down and immediately Winter was at my side helping to Darkstalker's cave. We reached it and entered.

"Moon! What a pleasure." Darkstalker immediately knew something was wrong and had me lay down. Putting a talons to my head he concentrated. After almost a minute he stumbled back. "No no no no! Not you too Moon!"

"What wrong!?" Winter asked nervously. Darkstalker looked to me then Winter, then lowered his gaze.

"She has a rare disease that only occurs with mindreader. Something that could kill her if it's to late." I felt my eyes grow heavy and I played my head down. Their conversation grew distant as I slowly fell into a deep slumber, only hearing one last thing.

"Moon no!!" Was all I heard from Winter before my eyelids grew to heavy for me to keep open.
