Chapter 8

6 months later.......

Huh, I slowly woke up and I couldn't even think everything was just fuzzy. I didn't recognize anything. I didn't even know who I am or even my name anyways. I slowly sat up and it felt like I haven't moved in months. Then I was working my way on getting out off bed but someone ran in and put me back into bed.

"Ruby, you must stay in bed, I'm glad to see that your up but you go to stay in bed, If you need anything press this button but a doctor will be with you momentarily."

Before I could have said anything she quickly left, A doctor? So I must be in the hospital but why? She must be a nurse or aren't they call something else? Wow, I got a million question and yet no answers. I laid there staring at the ceiling daze and confuse.

"Good morning Ruby, how are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, but who are you?"

"I'm your doctor"

"You mention someone name Ruby.... Who's that and where am I?"

"hmm, Can you answer me on question?"

"I could try"

"Okay.........."

"Wait I just answer your question"

"That's not the question"

"Then why did you ask it?"

"Moving on, can you tell me the last thing you remember?"

"Um........ hmm..........the last thing I remember.... before I woke up here?"

"Yes"

"Only thing I remember is how to speak English but a memory, event, whatever , I don't remember anything before waking up"

"Okay, I'll fill you in on the basic information but how end up here, I can't say"

"That's fine, its better then nothing"

"Your name is Ruby and your 15 years old.... here's your birth certificate and a few paper saying where you go to school, etc."

"Thank you"

"We will love to run some test to see your in perfect condition and ready to check out but first you got a visitor"

The doctor and nurse left. Then this guy walked in and everything about me just cause me to melt. Gosh, hope his my boyfriend or a friend with benefit. His the type of guy that all the girls in school will fall for and fight over him.

"Hey, Ruby the Doc. said you have amnesia so I'm guessing you have no clue who I am"

"Sorry, I don't"

"I'm Max a close friend who met you 3 years ago, we use to work together and sort off hangout not really but I consider us as close friends"

"Oh okay.....I'm sorry I don't remember much about you"

"No problem, Sunshine, the doc is goanna run some test on you then I'm goanna take you home"

Then he walked away and I said something before he walked out the door but it was weird why did he call me sunshine and then I have no idea why I said what I have said it just came out of as a habit.

"Are you sure, moonlight?"

"Yea I'm sure"

He smiled and walked out. Then the doctors came and ran a few test. After several annoying and sort of painful test I was checked out clear and was able to leave. As I waited in the car for.... hmm.... What was his name again?.... Oh I got it I think.... um... Max, was talking to a doctor and I ease drop into the conversation.
