Abby texts me:
Hey I left early 2day to go to the dentist. Supposubly I have cavities to fill.😷😒see ya 2morrow😜
I text her back:
Aww! Ima miss chu! And I'll see you tomorrow OR afterschool😘
I get to the middle of my English class. The councelor is there and so is the girl and boy I was talking about earlier.
"Oh! I'm glad you joined us julliette! I would like for you to meet our new students," the councelor says," Katy and her twin brother Caleb Garcia."
Wow! There twins! They do look alike. I just nod and wave. I sit down and the teacher begins to say,"Ok, Katy you can sit next to Julliete and Caleb next to Emmet." She pointed at us to show then where we were.
They listen to her. Katy sits next to me. She sits down straight and proud. She looks like she won't let anybody put her down.
Katy:"Hi, What's your name?
Me: "Julliete"
Katy:"Nice to meet you. Can I call you Jewl?"
Me:"Um..... yeah, sure."(she seems like a pain in the butt already.)
Katy:"Ok"
She faces to the teacher while she is talking. I look in front of me from the other side of the room where her brother is sitting next to Emmet. I look at him and he winks at me, or I think he is. I look down and blush. I suddenly turn around if anyone is behind me if he was looking at, but he wasnt. He winked at me! Amanda got mad, who she is sitting next to me from the other side, she looks at me.
"Don't you even take a glance at my boyfriend, okay? Or you will regret it."
I smile at her,"I'll try,"I say sarcastically.
She gets mad. She is about to get off her seat until the teacher calls her,"Amanda!"
Amanda turns to her. The teacher gives her a stern look and Amanda stops. I-in my mind do a evil smile.
The teacher keeps talking and I'm beginning to feel wierd since Emmet keeps staring at me. I just look down at my desk. I also see that he made a new friend, Caleb. I can see both of them popular.
Katy at lunch sits next to me.
"Hey Jewl. What you eating."
"A sandwich with some potato chips, you?"
"I have a spaghetti alfredo and some chocolates. You want some?"
"No."
"Why are you so quiet?"
"I don't know." I say a little annoyed. I wish Abby would have stayed. I really need some comfort. Everyone here is freaking me out today.
"Do you have any siblings."
"No," I say to quick,"Why are you hanging out with me anyways? Why not with those girls?" I point at them and Amanda comes with her friends.
"Because-"
Amanda: "Hey.... ummm... whats your name new girl."
"Kate"
"Why don't you hang out with the popular girls, Kate?"
"I-I-"
They pull her away from me. They walk away, and talk to her like if they were best friends.
"My name is Amanda," she point to her left,"this is Haley," she points to her right, "This is Casey."
"Nice to meet you."
I look down at my sandwich. I stand up and walk to the trash can and throw my food away. I lost my appetite. Emmet sees me and so does Kates brother, Caleb.
Emmet tells something to Caleb and he walks towards me.
"Why did you throw away your food, aren't you hungry?"
"Because I can, and I lost my appetite" I keep walking. He keeps following.
"Hey." He grabs my arm,"what's wrong?"
"Nothing! It's none of your bussiness. Let go of me." I shake my hand away from his even though I wanted him to hold it forever.
I walk away. Amanda sees me. She gives me a angry face. I say to her,"Dont even bother. Tell you boyfriend to stop "glancing" at me."
She walks to him and I see them arguing. Emmet looks annoyed and leaves her. Katy, Casey, and Haley watch her and gasp.
