Alright, so if your still reading this before I edited the description, here's what I said. I read over chapter two and found out two things, this story may be a little similar to Twilight and I'm thinking of making another book. Alex's sadistic siblings spark an idea in my brain of never ending unicorns and stuff, so what I said before about Elena's past (which I also recently changed it to her mothers past) will probably be in the next book IF I decide to make it, I'll ask you guys first.
Anyway, that handsome chunk of man is Avan Jogia playing Chris. Yes! Fear him!
(Sorry for any grammar/spelling mistakes)

Elena's POV
It's been a couple days since our walk in the woods. And as much as I hate to admit it, I'm a bit scared. They sound like really strong people, but them murdering people makes me think of their parents and who they were. And thinking about their parents makes me think of who Ashton is. What if he's dead?
Currently, I'm trying to make a sweater for Alex even though I have no experience in crocheting. I am also currently tangled up in the yarn, don't ask how because I honesty don't know. I tried to bite it off my arm because my hands were tangled and I tripped on the black string and fell face first, thanking everything that it was carpet there even though that didn't help much at all.
Alex, who was standing on the side of his desk flipping through some books, looked over to find the source of the huge thump. His shoulder slumped a bit when he saw me and a small smile came as his perfect eyebrows meshed together and his eye's got brighter in confused amusement.
"May I ask what happened?" He asked as he closed the book, kneeling down in front of me. I flipped over one my back and sat up with his help.
"I was trying to make you a sweater." I told him, watching as he skillfully undid th knot that tied my hands together.
"Why?"
"Because I wanted to pay you back."
"For what?" He wrapped the yarn back around the rest that was on the roll and trailed down to my legs. I watched, soft heat rising to my cheeks as his finger tips brushed against the bare skin of my legs.
"For all the years of things you gave me. I know a weird looking sweater isn't going to repay for 12 years of things but-" His chuckle cut me off. "What?"
"You don't have to give or make me anything."
"But you're not happy-"
"Elena," He said as he finished wrapping the last of the yarn around the roll and looked at me. "Just knowing that your awake and breathing is enough to make me happy." A small smile graced onto my features as I reached out to hug him.
"Thank you," I said, my voice muffled in his V-neck. I curse every single shred of wood inside that door when the door bell rang, ruining the mood. He stood and helped me up as well, dusting of his hands before gesturing me to follow him downstairs. Before I did, I quickly ran to my room, grabbing my sun glasses and putting them on.
Once we got there, he open the door to reveal the most beautiful female I have ever seen. She was perfectly pale, her skin matching her dark blond hair with light brown highlights in it. Her skin also making her lips seem as red as possible, and the smile she wore only added to her beauty. And her eyes were a shining blue and reminded me of my eyes before that bastard turned them.
I instantly knew she was a vampire. From years of staying with Alex I picked up how to tell if the person was a vampire or not. Some were pale, some weren't, but most of all it was how they looked. How inhumanly beautiful they were.
