My point of view! (Yeah!!!! XD) Btw, it's been three days since the Chris and Elena thing.
Elena groaned softly, making sure to keep her voice down, as she paced back and forth in her room. She was supposed to be sound asleep, seeing as it was 1:30 at night. But she couldn't, she hadn't eatten anything either, because she was to nervous to even think about those two things.
She woke up this morning, determined to finally kiss Alex. Easier said than done. Instead of doing just that, she stayed in her room all day, pacing and thinking about the reaction he would have when she did kiss him. It was just a kiss, right? Why was she panicing this much over just a small kiss? Well, Elena as been with this man since she was seven. Seven. It's not that easy to just walk up to someone who has been in your life that long and is like a brother to you and just kiss him. And another reason why, is she had never been kissed before, let alone kiss someone. Knowing that she was going to kiss him made her even more nervous.
Elena knew excately where he was, having been watching him a while before. Watching as he walked into the kitchen, stayed there for a while, came out with nothing, walked to the bookself, choose a book, sat down, and opened it. She wasn't really watching what she did, she was watching how he did it. How his walk was graceful and confident stride that not everyone could muster, how his muscles moved beneath his black V-neck t-shirt.
She stopped pacing and glared at the door, it being the only thing keeping her away from Alex. When, in truth, it was her keeping herself away from Alex. She could just open the wooden thing she thought was a nusince and go to him but she was to scared.
Slowly, she walked to the door and placed her hand on it, then took it away. She repeted this action three for four more times before she sighed and opened the door, snatching her hand away before she'd just wound up closing it again before she even moved to step out the door.
Slowly, again, she walked, more like crept, into the corridor and walked down it, stopping at the corner she had been when watching him and breathed. She hoped to the Heavens that he didn't hear her coming. Even though she knew he was a vampire. He could hear her soft footsteps, her rapid but quiet breathing, and her heart beating at an rediculous speed.
Alright, you can do this, Elena. Just kiss him and go back to your room. She thought to herself. Again, probably easier said than done.
He was right where she'd last seen him, sitting on the couch reading the book. His back was facing her so she couldn't see his face but she knew there was a faint smile painted onto his inhumanly beautiful face.
Knowing this, she attempted to turn around, go back to her room and call herself a stupid asshole for saying she was going to do this, get this close, only to turn back around and call herself a stupid asshole. But she didn't. She stayed and began to slowly walk closer. As much as she wanted to, not stopping until she reached the couch and sat on it, in the far right corner whereas he was in the left.
There was a silence as the fire in the fire place crackled quietly, creating a soft orange glow in the room. No onw broke the silence for a while.
"Your still up." He began, it was meant as a question but came out as a statment. Alex knew she was awake the entire time and worried for her because she didn't come out to eat. He attempted to go into her room and check on her, like he had done many times before, but she seemed to have been in the shower when he opened the door so he closed it, assuming she was getting ready for bed, having it been 12:14 at the time.
"I had things I was thinking about, and I'm not tired anyway." Elena shrugged, shuffling just a bit closer and keeping her scarlet eyes on the fire dancing around on the logs.
"You didn't eat today either."
Here we go again. Elena huffed in annoyence in her head.
"Maybe if I was like you, you wouldn't have to worry about me eating or not." She mumbled quietly, thinking he didn't hear here but Alex heard her as clear as day, and did it startle him. She had never said such things before now so why bring that up? Alex let it slid, keeping it in the back of his mind, having not a reason why he did.
"What were you thinking about that kept you up this late?" He asked, changing the subject and visablely stiffening. Alex thought that she was thinking about what happened with Chris, but hoped she wasn't. He could only see a little of her expression, and it wasn't one of fear like any other time they would speak of him, it was one of being nervous. What could she be nervous about.
"Um... Can I... I want to try something." She said, her voice barely above a whisper as she finally looked up at him. Elena's eyes were bright with a feeling that made Alex a bit nervous himself.
"Try what?" He asked, Elena got to her hands and knee's and crawled toward him slowly, breaking the eye contact only to take the book from his hands, close it, and place it on the glass coffee table in front of them. They didn't speak, they didn't have too. Both knew what was about to happen, both wondering what his reaction would be.
As she neared him, she caught his gaze again, the air around them tensing up the closer she got. He wondered how she could be so calm. If his heart had any blood in it, it would surely be beating beyond belief.
Elena placed a hand on his chest to steady herself a bit, then smiled a bit, only a twitch at the corner of her mouh, when she felt his chest going up and down a litte quicker than it was before. Once she was just a beath away from his ever so tempting lips, she inhaled a bit, closing her eyes, another thing that came with the change in her eyes is her sense of smell, how it's heightened. His smell was the best thing her nose has ever met, and she wan't to be as close as she could so she could smell him more.
She leaned down more and finally did what she'd been dying to do since she'd first met him. Taking his bottom lip between her lips and kissing him fully. He didn't kiss back at first, and that's what scared Elena the most but after a couple seconds he did, moving, almost timidly, against her's.
This was the happiest day (or night rather) of her life, that is, until she pulled back and her almost smile turned to a deep frown when she saw his face. He wasn't angry, he wasn't confused, nor was he sad. Alex didn't really know how to feel. He was just, blank. No emotion in his eyes, where he keeps them hidden most of the time, no emotion in his expression. And that shot Elena right in the heart, thinking she had did something wrong.
But it was okay, right? He kissed her back.
"Elena," He finally broke the tense silence. It wasn't awkward, it never is with him, it is either comfortable or tense and this was a type of tense you never want to feel. His voice was monotone, and Elena didn't know if it was anger, disgust, happiness, anything. Elena scurried away, moving to were she had been before, in the corner, and hugging her knee's, tears threatening to fall but she blinked them away.
"I'm sorry." She whispered.
"Sleep," Was all he said, lightly touching my arm before I suddenly felt tired, even though I was no where near tired, and she feel limp against the couch, a faint tingle on her lips and that soon faded as everything else did.

So this is a stall for Chris and Elisabeth. Their love life. I know, a chapter for just a kiss? Well, I couldn't think of anything else to do so be nice, okay?
Anyway, I would really adore some comments, haven't been getting them lately.
Thanks for reading!
