3- I wonder

[9:45 am]
Aidan leans over me and pokes my nose. I accidentally slap him because I didn't know who it was, "I'm so sorry!" I cover my mouth and turn away, then I start to laugh trying to keep it quiet.

He has a blank face expression, "Don't-" I get up quickly and push him onto my bed. I try to keep quiet when I hide under his bed in his room. "I'll find you."

I peek my head out from under his bed and he sees me. "There you are."

"Please don't hurt me," I sound innocent. "I wasn't going to, I am a bit mad at you though." I guess he can be a bit mad, I mean I did slap him. Wow, I didn't notice before but he has a red mark from me slapping him. "I'm so sorry," I get out from under the bed and study the red mark. I frown.

[2 pm]
All morning we've been having little arguments. I hope nothing happens between our friendship. He went out with his friends, Noah and Dennis. The coast is clear. I grab Adam from the floor, I hold him close and start to cry.

Aidan
"Guys, I think I hurt Kate," I look at them. "Why would you care about how she feels?" Noah says, "Yeah why?" Dennis adds.

"Well.. I.. like her."

They widen their eyes, "Her? You? She's mine!" They both say. They go on arguing on who is who's. "Shut up already." I'm annoyed. "Cmon Aidan, she'll like one of us one day," Dennis says, and Noah hits him, "What he MEANS to say was that she'll like you one day."

"I hope she does," I say.

I wonder the whole time if she maybe likes me back, may not though because she doesn't know I like her. And I hope the guys don't tell her that I like her.

"Guys, I'm going to head home," I say.

"Alright, bye," Noah says, "Bye!" Dennis yells. I walk away and head home.

Kate
Well, it's weird how he's mad. Aidan was all nicey-nice until now. Maybe it's because he's also mad because I tense up. I wonder, is he? Oh Kate, stop thinking. He doesn't like you so you have nothing to worry about. Unless he does..

No.. he can't. Yeah! He can't!

I hear Aidan walking in, "Hey bab- Kate! I mean Kate!" Hold on.. did he almost call me baby!

Maybe..

No..

Yes..

Nah. He wouldn't of.

"Bye Aidan, going to walk around the neighborhood."

"Ok, bye!" he says as soon as I walk out the door.

Zing zing! My phone gets a text.

That was awkward, to forgive someone on a text. Or at least for me.
