10 years later...........

Reyna

Ten years have passed since she's seen the mirror, and Reyna wasn't even sure if it was real, or just a figment of her imagination.

She usually thinks about it, wondering where it was now, and what fortune it could have brought her if she had accepted it....

"Reyna!" Her mother called.

She sighed, what did she want now? She thought.

"Yes mother?" Reyna asked as she snapped back to reality to find herself cleaning the dishes.

"Why don't you just take all the time in the world cleaning the dishes so you can let Mallory stay at school until next year and starve?" Her mother asked sarcastically

Reyna hated when her mother spoke to her sarcastically, but since she was the person putting food on the table, Reyna didn't answer back.

After she finished cleaning the dishes, she grabbed her cloak from her room and ventured out to go find her sister.

She was a little scared to go out alone, for she feared the mirror would once again make an appearance.

But little did she know, there was a whole other surprise waiting for her...

****************

As Reyna stepped out of her house, she was greeted by a cold gust of wind flowing across her skin like silk. The streets were covered with snow, and small snowflakes were gracefully falling down to her front porch.

Reyna instantly felt better as she marched down the snowy path, only to bump into someone.

Soon enough, she found herself sitting on the ground with the hood of her cloak dangling from her back.

"Hey, watch it!" She said as she put the hood of cloak back on her head.

"I'm so sorry mis-" a husky male voice started.

As the owner of the voice turned around, he stopped what he was saying and looked directly at Reyna.

Reyna stared back at the mysterious boy. His brown hair and grey eyes boring into Reyna's blue ones.

The boy helped her up to her feet without a word.

"What's your name?" They both said at the same time.

They laughed in unison, "okay, okay. You go first," the boy said.

"Reyna Marie Jasmine," Reyna said

When the boy didn't answer, Reyna decided to say something.

"Are you going to tell me your name, or am I just going to call you 'the clumsy boy who bumped into me'?" She asked.

"Oh, my apologies. " the boy bowed.

"My name is Prince Colton Key, prince of Alina."
