New strangers

Dez walked back to his house. He couldn't keep sitting around though. He couldn't keep thinking about her. He went to the mall,  and sat down at the weird place where they out all of their food into ice cream cones.

A girl sat down next to him. She was looking at her phone, and Dez glanced over to see a picture of Austin moon on her phone. She wrinkled her nose and scrolled by it. He looked up at her and remarked "not an Austin moon fan?"

She jumped, startled. "I guess not. How about you?"

He shook his head and laughed. "It's complicated."

She laughed. She had no idea.

"So what's your name?" He asked.

"Jessie." She said. "Jessie Prescott."

Trish was sitting outside of Alley's room. "Alley I don't know why you won't talk to me."

Alley let out a muffled sob from inside her room. "Yes you do! Go away!"

Trish shook her head. "Alley we're best friends stop it."

Alley opened her door. She looked awful. Her eyes were swollen from crying, and her hair was a mess. She looked like she hadn't slept in days. "I know. I'll forgive. But for now I just need time for myself!"

Trish sighed and left. We went downstairs into sonic boom. The place was full of a bunch of kids. One of them came up to her.

"Excuse me but could you kindly locate me to where my lizard is?" He said.

"Kid I don't know and I don't care. I don't need this right now." Trish spat back.

The kid started Kicking her in the legs. "TELL ME WHERE MRS KIPLING IS!" He screamed.

"Ow ow ok I don't know go ask mr. Dawson the manager." She shouted back.
Ravi left to find him, and Trish sat down.

A boy walked into the store. He looked around, then saw Trish and walked over to her.
"Hi." He said. "what's your name?"

"Uninterested." she said.

"Hi uninterested." He said. "I'm Tony the door man."

Then Trish had inspiration. She would make Dez jealous! "Okay Tony. I'll give you a chance. "

"Did I mention I'm a doorman?" He said, bouncing up and down.

"...okay" Trish said. "Thanks for sharing..."

"No problem!" He said " wait till I tell Jessie about this! I can't wait to rub it in her face that a girl talked to me!"

Trish didn't know who Jessie was, but she didn't care.
